Minnesota-based Integrated water treatment solutions provider U.S. Water Services Inc., which is looking to expand into the oil and gas sector, has merged with the Texas-based water treatment and equipment solution providers ChemCal Inc., which offers geographical access to the market.

ChemCal is a progressive independent company that was established in 1985 and serves the mid-southern United States.

“We are very happy to be a part of a company that shares the same ideals, culture and customer service mentality as ChemCal,” said ChemCal CEO Steve Dumler. “Really, the merger allows us to bring even greater product capabilities and resources to our customers without changing our day to day operations.”

For U.S. Water, the merger enables the water treatment company to expand its growing national footprint in mid-market industrial water treatment with geographic access to a territory prominent in oil and gas, a key growth segment for the future.

“U.S. Water is very excited about the merger ,” said U.S. Water CEO Allan Bly. “ChemCal is an outstanding company with an excellent and diverse team of field technicians, scientists and sales engineers who fit right into our company and culture.”
