Superior Pipeline Announces New President, Other Senior Management Promotions
Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Superior Pipeline Co. LLC announced the promotion of Bill Ward to president of the company, along with two other changes to its senior management team.
In addition to Ward being promoted from senior vice president of commercial activities to president, a March 24 company statement also announced that Ed Alexander has been promoted from senior vice president of accounting and administration to chief financial officer and controller, and Kevin Koerner has been promoted from vice president of operations and engineering to senior vice president of operations and engineering.
Ward joined the company in February 2008 and served as vice president of gas supply and business development until December 2014, when he was promoted to the position of senior vice president of commercial activity.
Alexander joined the company in July 2003 as financial analyst. Since then, he has served in different roles, including business manager and director of accounting and administration, until his most recent assignment of senior vice president of accounting and administration in January 2013.
Koerner joined the Superior in November 2005 and served as engineering manager until January 2010, when he was promoted to the position of director of engineering, which he held until January 2013, when he was promoted to vice president of project development. He had served in the role of vice president of operations and engineering since December 2014.
“Bill, Ed and Kevin have all performed in an exemplary fashion in all of their roles over the years, which has prepared them to assume these key management positions in the company,” said Kevin Clement, a member of Superior’s board of directors. “They all have a proven track record which will help set the stage for future success.”
Superior Pipeline is a joint venture owned 50 percent by Unit Corp. and 50 percent by SP Investor Holdings LLC, a holding company jointly owned by OPTrust and funds managed and/or advised by Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager.
