Registration Now Open for 2023 PRCI Research Exchange Meeting
The Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) has announced that registration is now open for the 2023 Research Exchange on March 7-8. The theme for 2023 is “Advancing the Resilience of Our Energy Infrastructure.”
PRCI will be hosting its annual Research Exchange (REX2023) at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas. The Research Exchange is scheduled each year to provide PRCI member companies, key industry research partners and external stakeholders with a report on important research results and provide a forum for an exchange of ideas. This event is the key knowledge transfer window for PRCI and will provide the attendees an opportunity to learn how to move the results into practice.
The pipeline industry has provided the safe and efficient transportation of fuels for over a century. Significant technological advancements for design, materials, construction, operations, monitoring and repurposing of assets have been accomplished by the generations of industry professionals who have come before. Much has been accomplished, yet there are always more challenges to solve. Resiliency has sustained the industry, but it is innovation that advances it, according to PRCI.
As the pipeline industry focus widens to include new and emerging fuels, stakeholders must prepare for the next century of safe fuel transportation and delivery to and for communities. REX2023 aims to take participants to the next level by sharing results from research organizations, service providers and operators.
Following the Research Exchange, the PRCI Technical Committees will hold working meetings on Thursday, March 9, and Friday, March 10. These meetings are limited to PRCI members and invited guests only, and require a separate registration from the Research Exchange. PRCI committee members will receive a follow-up registration notice early in 2023. PRCI urges members to plan travel and accommodations accordingly.
