Project Roundup: The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2017 unless noted.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1.) the removal of a 3-in. valve and other associated piping in Stanislaus County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Norman Glenn; and 2.) for the hydrotesting of approximately 27 miles of 34-in. pipe, and the installation of two launchers and three mainline valves in Kern County, California. Headquarters is Mojave, California. The superintendent is Mary LaRue. Approximate start date: 1.) June 22 and 2.) June 26.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Stupp for the offloading and racking of approximately 49 miles of 16-in. pipe in York County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: June 26.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Spire for the offloading and racking of approximately 43 miles of 24-in. pipe in Madison County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: June 21.
Aaron Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by InfraSource LLC to replace approximately 120 ft of 20-in. pipe including one road bore in Washington, Winchester and Clarke counties, Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Glenn Grove. Approximate start date: June 19.
Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Nicor Gas Co. to install approximately 8 miles of 30-in. pipeline and abandonment of approximately 8 miles of 22-in. pipeline in Kane County, Illinois. Headquarters is Marengo, Illinois. The superintendent is Bryant “Tubby” Long. Approximate start date: June 19.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc./Rice Energy Prometheus Pipeline to install approximately 3,000 ft of 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Monroe County, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joe Schmelzer. Approximate start date: June 14.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Spire for the offloading of approximately 43 miles of 24-in. pipe in Polk County, Minnesota. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: June 12.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by TransCanada/ ANR for replacement of approximately 390 ft of 30-in. pipeline and approximately 170 ft of 22-in. pipeline in Lake County, Indiana. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Kerry Schott. Approximate start date: June 7.
ProFoam LLC was awarded a contract by Welded Construction LP to provide foam breakers on approximately 25 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Allegheny and Washington counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Washington, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Kevin Smith. Approximate start date: June 6.
Atlas Trenchless LLC was awarded contracts by Precision Pipeline LLC for the following: 1.) the installation of approximately 2,606 ft of 20- and 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and 2.) the installation of approximately 2,653 ft of 20- and 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters for both jobs is on the jobsite. The superintendent for both jobs is Jim Lagios. The approximate starting date for both jobs is June 5.
Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Evraz/Enbridge for offloading and stockpiling of approximately 200 miles of 36-in. pipe in Kittson, Polk, Red Lake and Carlton counties, Minnesota. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Greg Norman. Approximate start date:
June 5.
Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Transcontinental to replace two 30-in. pipeline valves in Chester and Montgomery counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Gary Seidel. Approximate start date: June 5.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC to provide foam breakers on approximately 20 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Larry Schindler. Approximate start date: June 5.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Northern Indiana Public Service Co. (NIPSCO) to replace approximately 1,800 ft of 24-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling and in-line facility modifications in Cass, Miami and Wabash counties, Indiana. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Tim Dunn. Approximate start date: June 5.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Lone Star Directional Drilling to install approximately 3,300 ft of 20-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Westmorland and Indiana counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is David Chesney. Approximate start date: June 5.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1.) for a 12-in. station meter upgrade in San Juaquin County, California. The superintendent is Matt Groeneveld; 2.) the replacement of 12-in. valve in Monterey County, California; 3.) the replacement of approximately 77 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Monterey County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent for both jobs is Jeff Gregory; and 4.) to install approximately 6,500 ft of 36-in. pipeline in San Juaquin County, California. Headquarters for all jobs is to be determined. The superintendent is Lou McMullen. Approximate start date: June 5 (for all).
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for hydrotesting of approximately 2.6 miles of 24-in. pipeline and the installation of a 30-in. launcher and receiver in Will, Cook and Kankakee counties, Illinois. Headquarters is Big Lake, Minnesota. The superintendent is Kerry Schott. Approximate start date: June 2.
Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by MarkWest to install approximately 3 miles of 30-in. pipe in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Sherwood, West Virginia. The superintendent is Roman McKown. Approximate start date: June 1.
Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded a contract by Welded Construction LP for the clearing of approximately 18 miles of 24-in. pipeline right-of-way in Genesee and Saginaw counties, Michigan. Headquarters is Mount Morris, Michigan. The superintendent is Mark Smith. Approximate start date: June 1.
Foltz Welding Ltd. (d/b/a Continental Pipeline Services) was awarded a contract by Countrymark Pipeline to install approximately 17 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Marion County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joe Pennington. Approximate start date: May 31.
Pedero Pipe Support Systems USA was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. to provide spray breakers and pillows on approximately 160 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Fairfield, Perry, Noble and Monroe counties, Ohio, Marshall County, West Virginia and Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Lancaster, Ohio. The superintendents are Mark Nail and James Silva. Approximate start date: May 31.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for hauling and stringing of approximately 24 miles of 24-in. pipe in Belmont County, Ohio and Marshall County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Massillon, Ohio. The superintendent is Chane Keeling. Approximate start date: May 30.
Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Minnesota Limited LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 4 miles of 12-in. pipeline right-of way in Harrison County, Ohio. Headquarters is Cadiz, Ohio. The superintendent is Tyson L. Shook. Approximate start date: May 26.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Enbridge for the removal of less than 1 mile of 24-in. pipeline in Will County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Kerry Schott. Approximate start date: May 24.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install 2- to 24-in. pipeline fabrication in Hamilton County, Indiana. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Jim Shepler. Approximate start date: May 22.
