North American Pipeline Project Roundup: March 2018

Project Roundup: The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2018 unless noted.

Latex Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Nexus Gas Transmission to install approximately 80 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Erie, Huron, Lorain, Medina, Sandusky and Wayne counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Elyria, Ohio. The superintendent is Mike Hamilton. Approximate start date: Feb. 26.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. for the clearing, grubbing, matting and hand felling of trees on approximately 22.29 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way for the Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline project located in Doddridge and Ritchie counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Ellenboro, West Virginia. The superintendent is Tyson L. Shook. Approximate start date: Feb. 19.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. for the clearing, grubbing, matting and hand felling of trees on approximately 39.86 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way for the Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline project located in Campbell, Jackson, Mason and Putnam counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Eleanor, West Virginia. The superintendent is Timothy J. Garber. Approximate start date: Feb. 19.

Q3 Contracting Inc. was awarded a contract by Alliant Energy for gate station and DRS site work and pipe support installation including the pressure testing of DRS, installation of farm taps, installation of test stations and testing of 4-in. pipeline in Louisa County, Iowa. Headquarters is Columbus Junction, Iowa. The superintendents are Troy Nelson and Doug Reeves. Approximate start date: Feb. 16.

Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Columbia Gas Transmission/TransCanada to install approximately 19 miles of 36-in. pipeline on the Mountaineer Xpress project in Wetzel and Marshall counties, West Virginia. The headquarters is Triadelphia, West Virginia. The superintendents are Art Gavlock, Rob Seebeck and Rick Emert. Approximate start date:
Feb. 12.

Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Consumers Energy Co. for the replacement of approximately 1,100 feet of 22-in. pipeline in Oakland County, Michigan. The headquarters is Orion Charter Township, Michigan. The superintendent is Jeff Sanderson. Approximate start date: Feb. 12.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Williams Midstream to install approximately 4.97 miles of 16-in. pipeline in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Montrose, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Kevlin Shaw. Approximate start date: Feb. 7.

Ace Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by DETI to install approximately 34 miles of 30-in. pipeline in Doddridge, Harrison, Tyler and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Ellenboro, West Virginia. The superintendent is Sam Jarvis. Approximate start date: Feb. 6.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP US Pipelines for maintenance work at the NuStar Energy Roseville Station in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Feb. 6.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 8.72 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Jason W. Mack. Approximate start date: Feb. 5.

Moosehead Harvesting Inc. was awarded a contract by Meridian Energy LLC for the clearing of 2.5 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way on the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline project in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Robert Reed Jr. Approximate start date: Feb. 5.

Right-of-Way Clearing & Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing of approximately 34.8 miles of 42-in. pipeline right of way in Harrison, Wetzel and Monroe counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Rick Brown. Approximate start date: Feb. 5.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the hand felling of trees and clearing of approximately 20 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Calhoun, Ritchie and Wirt counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendents are James Junker Jr. and Robert Cogburn. Approximate start date: Feb. 1.

Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded a contract by Welded Construction LP for clearing and grubbing on 1,500 ft of 22-in. pipeline right of way in Oakland County, Michigan. Headquarters is Clio, Michigan. The superintendent is Mark Smith. Approximate start date:
Jan. 31.

Appalachian Pipeline Contractors LLP was awarded a contract by Eastern Shore Natural Gas Co. to install approximately 4.5 miles of 16-in. pipeline, approximately 8.8 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and approximately 1.9 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Cecil County, Maryland. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Jimmy Crotts. Approximate start date: Jan. 29.

Earth Pipeline Services was awarded a contract by Snelson Companies Inc. for tree felling and erosion and sediment controls installation on 20 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Doddridge, Tyler and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Kevin Berryman. Approximate start date: Jan. 29.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Southern Star to install a delivery meter, 400 ft of 12- and 100 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Carter County, Oklahoma. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Brad Phillips. Approximate start date: Jan. 29.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 8 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The headquarters is Unityville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Matthew Opel. Approximate start date: Jan. 29.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded contracts by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for the following: 1) the hand felling of trees on approximately 28.93 miles of 42-in. pipeline right of way in Augusta and Bath counties, Virginia. Headquarters is Waynesboro, Virginia. The superintendent is Holland P. McLaughlin; and 2) the hand felling of trees on approximately 17.59 miles of 42-in. pipeline right of way in Pocahontas and Randolph counties, West Virginia and Highland and Bath counties, Virginia. Headquarters is Waynesboro, Virginia. The superintendent is Holland P. McLaughlin. Approximate start date: Jan. 22 (both projects).

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded contracts by TransCanada for the construction of warehouses on Spreads 7 and 8 of the Mountaineer Express Project. Spread 7 construction is in Jackson County. West Virginia. Headquarters is Ripley, West Virginia. The superintendent is Kenny Sweetin. Spread 8 construction is located in Cabell County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Culloden, West Virginia. The superintendent is Marty Moss. Approximate start date: Jan. 19 (both projects).

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Transcontinental to install approximately 8 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Unityville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Bryant “Tubby” Long. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the felling of trees on approximately 17 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Harrison and Lewis counties West Virginia. The headquarters is Jane Lew, West Virginia. The superintendent is Jason Petrus. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for the felling of trees on approximately 15 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Randolph and Upshur counties, West Virginia. The headquarters is Buckhannon, West Virginia. The superintendent is Heath Mason. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for two 34-in. pipeline integrity digs in Lake County, Indiana. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Sabal Trail Pipeline LLC for warranty work on the Sabal Trail pipeline project throughout various counties in Florida. Headquarters is Kissimmee, Florida. The superintendent is Dickey Langston. Approximate start date: Jan. 12.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for clearing on approximately 10 miles of 8- to 16-in. pipeline right of way in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is not yet determined. The superintendent is Shawn Stephenson. Approximate start date: Jan. 10.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Transcontinental for the emergency removal of a pig from a 12-in. pipeline in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Glenn Barwicki. Approximate start date: Jan. 9.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP U.S. Pipelines for the lowering of approximately 4,600 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Pike County, Missouri. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Jan. 9.

Right-of-Way Clearing & Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Ace Pipeline Inc. for tree felling on approximately 27 miles of 30-in. pipeline right of way in Doddridge and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Rick Brown. Approximate start date: Jan. 8.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Klickitat PUD to install approximately 5.6 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Klickitat County, Washington. The superintendent is Sammy Thompson. Approximate start date: Jan. 8.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for the replacement of approximately 3,700 ft of 48-in. pipeline in Cass County, Minnesota. Headquarters is Duluth, Minnesota. The superintendent is Dave Halbert. Approximate start date: Jan. 8.

Ace Pipeline was awarded a contract by Antero Midstream to install approximately 15,400 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Harrison County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Salem, West Virginia. The superintendent is Jeremy Phillips. Approximate start date: Jan. 4.

Atlas Trenchless LLC was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC to install approximately 1,920 ft of 42-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Seneca County, Ohio. Headquarters is Rockville, Minnesota. The superintendent is Jim Lagios. Approximate start date: Jan. 3.

Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded contracts by Rockford Corp. for the following: 1) the felling of trees on approximately 59.7 miles of pipeline right of way in Cumberland and Robeson counties, North Carolina; and 2) the felling of trees on approximately 19.5 miles of pipeline right of way in Southampton County and the cities of Suffolk and Chesapeake. Headquarters are to be determined. The superintendent for both jobs is Mark Smith. Approximate start date: Jan. 2.
