Pipeline Project Roundup: August 2017

Project roundup: The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2017 unless noted.

Appalachian Pipeline Contractors LLP was awarded contracts by Piedmont Natural Gas for the following: 1.) the pullback and interconnect of various size piping in New Hanover and Brunswick counties, North Carolina; and 2.) to install approximately 12 ,000 ft of 8-in. pipeline, approximately 300 ft of 4-in. pipeline, four horizontal directional drills, mainline valve and regulator station modifications in Catawba County, North Carolina. Headquarters for both jobs is to be determined. The superintendent for both jobs is Anthony Campbell. Approximate start date: 1.) July 24 and 2.) Aug. 7.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Oneok for offloading and racking of approximately 32 miles of 16-in. pipe m Lincoln County, Oklahoma. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: Aug. 7.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Enterprise Products for the offloading and racking of approximately 30 miles of 20-in. pipe in Eddy County, New Mexico. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: Aug. 1.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada for modifications at two stations consisting of pipelines sizes from 2- to 48 in. in Walla Walla County, Washington and Morrow County, Oregon. Headquarters is on the jobsites. The superintendent is Mark Thomson. Approximate start date: July 26.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. to install approximately 4,050 ft of 30-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Kane County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Willard Worsham. Approximate start date: July 24.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for hydro-seeding on approximately 15 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Susquehanna and Tioga counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsites. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: July 24.

Appalachian Pipeline Contractors LLP was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas Co. to install approximately 13.76 miles of 20-in. pipeline, one regulator station, a launcher, a receiver and five horizontal directional drills totaling 4,511 ft in Boone and Polk counties, Iowa. Headquarters is Boone, Iowa. The superintendent is Bobby Rose. Approximate start date: July 17.

InfraSource, LLC was awarded a contract by Mears Group/Spectra Energy Transmission for pipeline integrity work including the recoating of various size pipelines for guided wave direct examination in Burks County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Matt Ranson. Approximate start date: July 17.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1.) a valve rebuild of approximately 200 ft of 34-in. pipeline, approximately 200 ft of 30-in. pipeline and approximately 200 ft of 24-in. pipeline in San Bernardino County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Matt Groeneveld; and 2.) the replacement of approximately 2,600 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Santa Cruz County, California. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jeff Gregory. Approximate start date for both jobs is July 17.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for pigging and cathodic protection repair on a 24-in. pipeline in Livingston County, Illinois. Headquarters is Pontiac, Illinois. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: July 17.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. for hydro-seeding on approximately 18.75 miles of 24-, 20- and 16-in. pipeline right of way in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: July 15.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to install approximately 2,600 ft of horizontal directional drilling and jack and boring on approximately 50 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Merced County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Kevin Hartsell. Approximate start date: July 12.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for the replacement of thirteen existing 12-in. pipeline valves in Sandusky, Wood, Ottawa and Lucas counties, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsites. The superintendent is Jim Shepler. Approximate start date: July 10.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install approximately 1,500 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Morgan County, Illinois. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Chris Elliott. Approximate start date: July 10.

lnfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Puget Sound Energy to install two 12-in. stopper fittings and the removal of approximately 475 ft of 12-in. pipeline in King County, Washington. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is John Fredricks. Approximate start date: July 10.

R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Consumers Energy for the removal and installation of approximately 700 ft of 26-in. pipeline and four 26 in. valves in Macomb County, Michigan. Headquarters is Macomb Township, Michigan. The superintendent is Bart Jeannette. Approximate start date: July l0.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC for hydro-seeding on approximately 4 miles of 12- and 8-in. pipeline right of way in McKean County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: July 7.

MDS Boring & Drilling Inc. was awarded a contract by Snelson Cos. Inc. for directional drilling on approximately 6 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Gunnison County, Colorado. Headquarters is Gunnison, Colorado. The superintendent is Jody Sterling. Approximate start date: July 5.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by SNC Lavalin to install approximately 12.5 miles of 16-in. pipeline that including 5 miles installed by horizontal directional drilling in Columbia County, Oregon. Headquarters is Clatskanie, Oregon. The superintendent is David Wix. Approximate start date: July 5.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric for replacement of approximately 40 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Kern County, California. Headquarters is Bakersfield, California. The superintendent is Norm Glenn. Approximate start date: June 28.

Gabe’s Construction Co. Inc. was awarded a contract by DTE Energy to install approximately 1,900 ft of 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Steve Huibregtse. Approximate start date: June 26.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada/ ANR for the take-up and installation of approximately 4,138 ft of 24-in. pipeline in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Headquarters is Appleton, Wisconsin. The superintendent is Andrew Durkin. Approximate start date: June 26.

InfraSource, LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Gas Pennsylvania for the relocation of approximately 5,000 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Matt Ranson. Approximate start date: June 26.

J. Koski Co. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for the clearing and matting of approximately 13 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Headquarters is Superior, Wisconsin. The superintendent is Chris Gmahl. Approximate start date: June 26.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1.) the removal of a 3-in. valve and other associated piping in Stanislaus County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Norman Glenn; and 2.) for the hydrotesting of approximately 27 miles of 34-in. pipeline, and to install two launchers and three mainline valves in Kern County, California. Headquarters is Mojave, California. The superintendent is Mary LaRue. Approximate start date: 1.) June 22 and 2.) June 26.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Stupp for the offloading and racking of approximately 49 miles of 16-in. pipe in York County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: June 26.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install fabrication on various size pipelines from 36” to 2” in Parke and Vermillion counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Jim Shepler. Approximate start date: June 21.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Integrity Kokosing for the hydro-seeding on approximately 4.5 miles of 30-in. pipeline right of way in Wayne County, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jason Clevenger. Approximate start date: June 21.

Profoam LLC was awarded a contract by XCL Midstream for pipe yard preparation for the unloading approximately 67,000 ft of 24-in. pipe in Marshall C01mty, West Virginia. Headquarters is Moundsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is Kevin Smith. Approximate start date: June 21.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Spire for the offloading and racking of approximately 43 miles of 24-in. pipe in Madison County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: June 21.

Aaron Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by InfraSource LLC to replace approximately 120 ft of 20-in. pipeline including one road bore in Washington, Winchester and Clarke counties, Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Glenn Grove. Approximate start date: June 19.

The Hillis Group LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for concrete foundations on approximately 2 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Headquarters is Danbury, Connecticut. The superintendent is Brett Ehasz. Approximate start date: June 19.

R-Value Foam lnsulation LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to provide foam breakers and padding on approximately 16 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Mansfield, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Greg Benaske. Approximate start date: June 19.
