Pipe Repair Pipeline Product Expo for September 2016
Citadel Technologies
Citadel Technologies is a developer and manufacturer of custom designed composite repair systems. The company’s products include DiamondWrap, BlackDiamond, DiamondWrap HP and DiamondWrap Subsea. They are among the most extensively tested carbon fiber repair products on the market and have been installed in more than 50 countries.
As the best alternative to clamps, welded sleeves and replacement, Citadel’s products of carbon fiber and 100 percent solid epoxies are used to rehabilitate and restore original strength to damaged, corroded and eroded pipelines and process piping systems. Citadel products are compliant with all major composite repair standards, including ASME PCC-2 and ISO-TS 24817. The company’s commitment to excellence assures that all systems are continually tested and reviewed using both in-house research and independent labs to ensure that we maintain our leadership in the industry.
Citadel Technologies’ carbon fiber systems are quick and easy to install. The thin profile reduces the required ditch size and the amount of man-hours required to install. This allows operators to install, cure and backfill the repair all in the same day.

Milliken Infrastructure Solutions
The Atlas Composite Repair System, part of Milliken’s family of Pipe Wrap repair solutions, is an advanced composite solution for on-site repair of corroded and/or mechanically damaged piping structures. The Atlas material uses a high-strength/high-modulus carbon fiber reinforcement for extreme strain reduction in the defect region. The Atlas system is provided in premeasured kits for easy field impregnation of the fabric material. Additionally, the remediation system can be used with Milliken Infrastructure’s patented ILI Detection System.
The system reinforces the pipe structure by containing hoop and axial loads, and easily conforms to elbows, tees, flanges, wrinkle bends and more. It is most commonly used for pipelines and piping systems suffering from repairable defects such as external corrosion and pitting; dents, gouges and welds, as well as manufactured defects.
The Atlas system’s significantly higher mechanical properties translate into a reduced repair thickness when compared to other repair systems. It is easy to install and sets within minutes. All testing for mechanical properties provided are in accordance with ASTM standards. The Atlas system has been independently certified to ASME PCC-2 and ISO 24817 standards. All third party test data is available to clients.

Neptune Research Inc. (NRI)
Leading the industry in quality, cutting-edge composites for more than 30 years, NRI has earned a reputation for innovative solutions that stand the test of time. NRI offers pipeline integrity and sacrificial mechanical protection products designed specifically for use on pipelines. Repeatable applications and results make the difference between a good product and a great solution. The company’s field-friendly solutions not only speed the application process but, more importantly, provide proven, consistent results.
The Scar-Guard line of products was designed to protect field joint coatings from the abrasion stresses and scarring of directional drilling, HDD and boring. Scar-Guard creates an abrasion resistant, sacrificial outer laminate which protects pre-approved field joint coatings and mainline coating such as epoxies, shrink sleeves and FBE.
Controlled set times, packaging and extreme conformability provide for efficient installations in any project environment. The Scar-Guard line of products minimize the potential for costly spot repairs or re-pulling pipe while providing the best mechanical protection of the underlying field-joint and mainline coatings.

PolyguarD
Polyguard’s Pipeline Division was the first coating manufacturer to highlight the cathodic shielding problem, and the first to develop a coating to address the shielding problem. The company has been active in the pipeline protective coating industry for more than 50 years.
In addition to standard types of corrosion coatings, this division has designed, manufactured and introduced a number of innovative underground pipeline coatings and girth weld coatings, which have become commercially accepted as standards for the industry. They are both non-shielding coatings and soil stress tolerant. Polyguard’s product offerings include NHT-5600 2-Part Epoxy with a 30 to 50 percent longer pot life than the competition and Reactive Gel, in addition to our popular RD-6 Coating System.
The use of Polyguard Pipeline Tape Coatings that don’t cause cathodic shielding if coating disbondment
occurs, helps mitigate pipeline corrosion often associated with buried steel pipe. The company’s non-shielding coatings, cathodic protection compatible and offshore girth weld coatings are industry leading protective applications.
