Outrigger Energy announced Aug. 18 that it has commenced operation of its crude oil gathering system in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Outrigger has received a long-term dedication from Devon Energy Corp. covering leasehold acres located in Campbell, Converse and Johnson counties, Wyoming.
Outrigger’s facilities include crude oil gathering pipelines with pumps, measurement and other facilities located at each well pad, providing for a capacity of up to 60,000 barrels per day (bpd). The gathering system provides producers with a complete wellhead-to-market midstream solution through a connection with the Powder River Crude Services LLC pipeline, which in turn provides access to both rail and downstream pipeline markets.
“We are excited to commence operation of our Powder River Basin crude oil gathering system, which adds another high growth asset to our previously announced Permian Basin systems,” said CEO Dave Keanini. “We are pleased to provide Devon Energy and other Powder River Basin producers with this critical infrastructure that will reduce costs, increase reliability, and provide access to more liquid end-markets for our customers.”
Outrigger Energy is a private, full service midstream energy company specializing in greenfield project development with a current focus in liquids-rich natural gas and crude oil basins in the Permian Basin of West Texas, the Rockies and Mid-Continent areas.Tags: crude oil, Devon Energy Corp, Outrigger Energy, Powder River Basin, Wyoming
