North American Pipeline Project Roundup: October 2019
Project Roundup is a monthly feature that summarizes the contracts awarded for pipeline projects in North America. The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2019 unless noted.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the loading, hauling and stringing of approximately 85 miles of 24-in. pipe in Taylor, Eastland, Comanche, Erath and Bosque counties, Texas. Headquarters is Abilene, Texas. The superintendent is Trey Stokes. Approximate start date: Sept. 25.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Mears Group/Enbridge for the hand excavation of bell holes for guided wave assessment in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Headquarters is Braintree, Massachusetts. The superintendent is Ben Whisler. Approximate start date: Sept. 16.
Environmental Reclamation Solutions LLC (ENREC) was awarded a contract by Minnesota Limited LLC for restoration work on approximately 97.43 miles of 10- and 12-in. pipeline rights-of-way in Washington, Allegheny and Beaver counties, Pennsylvania; Jefferson, Carroll and Harrison counties, Ohio; and Hancock County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Brad Webster. Approximate start date: Sept. 9.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Buckeye Partners LP to install approximately 3,000 ft of 8-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling and associated tie-ins in Fremont County, Iowa. Headquarters is Shenandoah, Iowa. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: Sept. 9.
Macki Pipeline Logistics LLC was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. for the hauling of an undetermined length of 42-in. pipeline in Freestone County, Texas. Headquarters is Fairfield, Texas. The superintendent is Donnie Krug. Approximate start date: Sept. 9.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy to replace and relocate three 36-in. pipeline valves and other miscellaneous piping work in Monroe County, Ohio. Headquarters is Hannibal, Ohio. The superintendent is Cliff Sinclair. Approximate start date: Sept. 9.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for an integrity dig on a 24-in. pipeline in St. Clair County, Michigan. Headquarters is St. Clair, Michigan. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Sept. 7.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas to install five 10-in. pipeline valve sites in Marquette County, Michigan. Headquarters is Marquette, Michigan. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Sept. 5.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy to install approximately 180 ft of 4-in. pipeline in Henry County, Iowa. Headquarters is Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for the inspection of 8-in. piping in Lucas County, Ohio. Headquarters is Toledo, Ohio. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.
Arnold’s Custom Seeding LLC was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for hydro-seeding and hydro-mulching on approximately 5.8 miles of 8- and 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Snohomish County, Washington. Headquarters is Snohomish, Washington. The superintendent is Shawn Hesse. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
Dun Transportation and Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by EVRAZ to offload, haul and stockpile approximately 300 miles of 30-in. pipe in Glasscock, Runnels, McCulloch and Williamson counties, Texas. Headquarters is the pipe yard. Superintendents are Lance Conner and Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
Intercon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas for the replacement of an undetermined length of 30-in. pipeline and sleeve installations in Ellsworth County, Kansas. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 19.67 miles of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Catawba and Lincoln counties, North Carolina. Headquarters is Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. The superintendent is Aaron Perritt. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the hauling, offloading and racking of approximately 300,000 ft of 36-in. pipe in Iberia and Calcasieu Parishes, Louisiana. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas for the extension of 18-in. casing on a 12-in. pipeline in Dakota County, Minnesota. Headquarters is Castle Rock, Minnesota. The superintendent is Jim Mitchell. Approximate start date: Sept. 3.
Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. for restoration work on approximately 18 miles of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Marshall County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Benwood, West Virginia. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: Sept. 2.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a project by Enterprise for yard preparation and the loading and racking of approximately 197,000 ft of 36-in. pipe in Lee and McLennan County, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: Aug. 30.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for tank foundation bores in Marion County, Illinois. Headquarters is Vernon, Illinois. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Aug. 27.
Aaron Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC to install 100 ft of 30-in. pipeline via jack and bore in Loudon County, Virginia. Headquarters is Leesburg, Virginia. The superintendent is Glenn Grove. Approximate start date: Aug. 26.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren to install 6- to 16-in. station piping in Shelby County, Indiana. Headquarters is Shelbyville, Indiana. The superintendent is Preston Steenburgen. Approximate start date: Aug. 26.
R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install approximately 160 ft of 26-in. pipeline via a conventional road bore in Douglas County, Illinois. Headquarters is Tuscola. Illinois. The superintendent is Jack Hill. Approximate start date: Aug. 26.
Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Duke Energy to install approximately 19.28 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Lincoln and Catawba counties, North Carolina. Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. for right-of-way clearing and grubbing on slip repair work in Putnam County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Hurricane, West Virginia. The superintendent is Matthew Opal. Approximate start date: Aug. 21.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy for the replacement of approximately 1.32 miles of 20-in. pipeline, including approximately 4,000 ft of horizontal directional drill, in Madison County, Illinois and St. Charles County, Missouri. Headquarters is Hartford, Illinois. The superintendent is Robert Gall. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by NIPSCO for replacement of the existing odorization system within a station in Elkhart County, Indiana. Headquarters is Bristol, Indiana. The superintendent is Henry Vandyke. Approximate start date: Aug. 19.
