North American Pipeline Project Roundup: November/December 2019
Project Roundup is a monthly feature that summarizes the contracts awarded for pipeline projects in North America. The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2019 unless noted.
Utility Line Services Inc. was awarded a contract by New Jersey Natural Gas to install approximately 9 miles of 30-in. pipeline in Burlington and Monmouth counties, New Jersey. Headquarters is New Egypt, New Jersey. Superintendent is Ronnie Michaelkovich. Approximate start date: Nov. 4.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the hydrotesting of various size 4- to 12-in. pipelines in Vinton County, Ohio. Headquarters is McArthur, Ohio. The superintendent is Preston Steenburgen. Approximate start date: Oct. 22.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Phillips 66 for the offloading, racking and yard preparation for approximately 342 miles of 24-in. pipe in Weld and Kit counties, Colorado. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: Oct. 21.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Integrity Pipeline to install approximately 1,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is John Olson. Approximate start date: Oct. 17.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for the inspection of 6- to 12-in. pipelines in Piatt County, Illinois. Headquarters is Monticello, Illinois. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Oct. 15.
Gabe’s Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Phillips 66 to install approximately 10,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Cole County, Missouri. Headquarters is Jefferson City, Missouri. The superintendent is Steve Huibregtse. Approximate start date: Oct. 15.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas for meter and regulator replacement in Nobles County, Minnesota. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: Oct. 15.
InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Northern Natural Gas for tie-ins, pressure testing and restoration on a 6-in. pipeline in Yankton County, South Dakota. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: Oct. 15.
Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. to install an unknown length of permanent fencing along a pipeline right-of-way in Greene County, Pennsylvania and Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Mark Nedrow. Approximate start date: Oct. 14.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for the integrity digs on a 22-in. pipeline in Hancock County, Illinois. Headquarters is Dallas City, Illinois. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Oct. 14.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for pipeline maintenance support including spool replacement and trap modification on a 16-in. pipeline in Carbon County, Montana. Headquarters is Edgar, Montana. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Oct. 14.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for valve repair on ¾- to 8-in. station piping in Marion County, Illinois. Headquarters is Patoka, Illinois. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: Oct. 11.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Duke Energy (Piedmont Natural Gas Co. Inc.) to install a new meter and pressure control stations in Wake and Wayne counties, North Carolina, including station piping, remote operated valves, valve runs and pig connections. Headquarters is Clayton, North Carolina. The superintendent is William Hank Sullivent. Approximate start date: Oct. 9.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the removal of approximately 300 ft of 20-in. pipeline and 100 ft of 1-in. pipeline and the grouting of two road crossings in Fairfield County, Ohio. Headquarters is Fairfield, Ohio. The superintendent is Fred Leasure. Approximate start date: Oct. 8.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy for concrete pier modifications and 16- to 24-in. pipeline assessments in Lake County, Indiana. Headquarters is Griffith, Indiana. The superintendent

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy to install cooler foundations and cable tray supports in Columbia County, Washington. Headquarters is Starbuck, Washington. Superintendent is Mike Arneson. Approximate start date: Oct. 8.
Ace Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Antero to install approximately 8,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Ritchie County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Salem, West Virginia. The superintendent is Jeremy Phillips. Approximate start date: Oct. 7.
The Hillis Group LLC was awarded a contract by Enbridge Pipeline for various restoration/slip repair work in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Greg Kunes. Approximate start date: Oct. 7.
The Hillis Group was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for various pipeline right-of-way restoration work in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is West Chester, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Brett Ehasz. Approximate start date: Oct. 7.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the fabrication, installation and testing of one 20-in. pipeline launcher barrel in Chester County, Pennsylvania and Cecil County, Maryland. Headquarters is Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Gary Siedel. Approximate start date: Oct. 2.
Macki Pipeline Logistics was awarded a contract by Evraz for the hauling of an undetermined length of 30-in. pipe in various counties of Texas. Headquarters is Houston, Texas. The superintendent is Donnie Krug. Approximate start date: Oct. 1.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy for offloading and stockpiling an undetermined length of 36-in. pipe and yard preparation in Meade, Haakon, Jones and Tripp counties, South Dakota. Headquarters on the various pipe yards throughout the counties. The superintendents are Greg Michel and Tim Graham. Approximate start date: Sept. 30.
United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy to install 2- to 4-in. piping for fuel gas heaters and miscellaneous station modifications in Bonner County, Idaho. Headquarters is Sandpoint, Idaho. The superintendent is Mark Thompson. Approximate start date: Sept. 30.
Enrec (Environmental Reclamation Solutions LLC) was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for restoration on approximately 4 miles of 42-in. pipeline right-of-way in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Integrity/Kokosing Pipeline Services for hydroseeding on approximately 1.5 miles of 16- and 30-in. pipeline right-of-way in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC for clearing, grubbing and matting on approximately 1.1 miles of 12-in. pipeline right-of-way in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Matthew Opel. Approximate start date: Sept. 15.
