North American Pipeline Project Roundup: May 2019

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2019 unless noted.

Hanging H was awarded a contract by Dominion Energy Questar Pipeline Services to replace approximately 2.4 miles of 14-in. pipeline in Garfield County, Colorado. Headquarters is Rifle, Colorado. The superintendent is Rick Melroy. Approximate start date: May 6.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install 19.7 miles of 42-in. pipeline in Freestone and Limestone counties, Texas. Headquarters is Donie, Texas. The superintendent is Dickie Langston. Approximate start date: April 22.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren for maintenance work on various size pipelines in Spencer, Madison and Henry counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Evansville, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: April 16.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by SEMCO Energy to offload, haul and stockpile approximately 45 miles of 6-, 10- and 20-in. pipe in Marquette County, Michigan. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Dane Hilsabeck. Approximate start date: April 15.

Hanging H Cos. LLC was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan to install a permanent bypass and a receiver in Gaines County, Texas. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Bob Angelocci. Approximate start date: April 15.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Cofano Energy Services LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 6,366 ft of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Tyler County, West Virginia. Headquarters is St. Mary’s, West Virginia. The superintendent is Tyson Shook. Approximate start date: April 15.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Burns & McDonnell to install approximately 11,650 ft of 20-in. pipeline, a launcher and receiver set and a meter station in Columbiana County, Ohio. Headquarters is Wellsville, Ohio. The superintendent is Gary Hawk. Approximate start date: April 15.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada to install approximately 6.4 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Allegany County, Maryland. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Jack Burch. Approximate start date: April 15.

R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by NIPSCO for 32 integrity digs on 8-, 12-, 16-, 20- and 24-in. pipelines in Allen, Cass, and Miami counties, Indiana. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Wes Lawrence. Approximate start date: April 15.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to replace approximately 170 ft of 4-in. pipeline in San Bernardino County, California. Headquarters is Needles, California. The superintendent is Norm Glenn. Approximate start date: April 15.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by BP Pipelines for miscellaneous site construction work on
an 8- and 10-in. pipeline in Dubuque County, Iowa. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Bailer. Approximate start date: April 15.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by TransCanada for the hydrostatic testing of four sections of 26-in. pipeline in Hardy, Pendleton, and Randolph counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Doug Vaughn. Approximate start date: April 10.

Q3 Contracting was awarded a contract by Xcel Energy for integrity digs, station modification and the installation of mainline valves on 4- to 24-in. pipelines in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Headquarters is Little Canada, Minnesota. The superintendent is Andrew Jeske. Approximate start date: April 10.

BigInch Fabricators & Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer to install 2- to 24-in. meter station piping in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Jim Shepler. Approximate start date: April 8.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by MPG for the hauling of approximately 6 miles of 26-in. pipe in Nueces County, Texas. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Joe McGee. Approximate start date: April 8.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Blue Flame Pipeline to install approximately 3,000 ft of 30-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Tyler County, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is John Olson. Approximate start date: April 8.

Maxx HDD LLC was awarded a contract by Strike LLC to install two 16-in. pipeline road bores in Matagorda County, Texas. Headquarters is Bay City, Texas. The superintendent is Charlie Evans. Approximate start date: April 8.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Berg Pipe to offload from rail, haul and stockpile approximately 9.25 miles of 36-in. pipe in Carlton County, Minnesota. Headquarters is Carlton, Minnesota. The superintendent is Ned Huston. Approximate start date: April 8.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EPIC for the offloading and racking of approximately 75,000 ft of 12-in. pipe and the offloading from rail and racking of approximately 377,000 ft of 12-in. pipe in San Patricio and Nueces counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: April 8.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada Columbia Gas for the removal replacement of a 24-in. pipeline launcher and receiver in Chester and Northampton counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Eagle, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Gary Seidel. Approximate start date: April 2.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Strike to load, haul and string approximately 119.2 miles of 36-in. pipe, approximately 20.4 miles of 30-in. pipe, and approximately 1.9 miles of 24-in. pipe in Kingfisher and Carter counties, Oklahoma. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Greg Norman. Approximate start date: April 1.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for hydroseeding on approximately 13 miles of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Washington, Allegheny and Westmoreland counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: April 1.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by UGI Energy Services LLC to install a half mile of 20-in. pipeline in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Jack Burch. Approximate start date: April 1.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Colorado Interstate Gas Co. for the offloading and racking of approximately 52,680 ft of 24-in. pipeline in Weld County, Colorado. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: April 1.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by NEXUS for the building of a road and for filter separator inspections at a 24-in. pipeline meter station in Columbiana County, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Mike Arneson. Approximate start date: April 1.

Maxx HDD LLC was awarded a contract by Non Typical Pipeline Construction to install one 720-ft 6- to 8-in. pipeline bundle in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Charlie Evans. Approximate start date: March 26.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan Logistics to offload and stockpile approximately 14,000 ft of 24-in. pipe in Colorado County, Texas. Headquarters is Eagle Lake, Texas. The superintendent is to be determined. Approximate start date: March 26.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EQM for slip remediation work in Monroe County, Ohio. Headquarters is Cameron, Ohio. The superintendent is Glen Bailey. Approximate start date: March 25.

The Hillis Group LLC was awarded a contract by Williams for a 24-in. pipeline cutout in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Linden, Pennsylvania. The Superintendent is Bill Adams. Approximate start date: March 25.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Berg Pipe for the offloading from rail and stockpiling of approximately 3.5 miles of 36-in. pipe in Polk County, Florida. Headquarters is Lake Wales, Florida. The superintendent is Jimmy Gregory. Approximate start date: March 25.

R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by DTE Energy to perform an integrity assessment on approximately 1 mile of 16-in. pipeline in St. Clair County, Michigan. Headquarters is East China, Michigan. The superintendent is Kevin Scully. Approximate start date: March 25.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by STUPP for the offloading from rail and racking of approximately 360 miles of 24-in. pipe in Howard and Taylor counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: March 25.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing of approximately 12 miles of 8” and 16-in. pipeline right-of-way in Tioga and Bradford counties, Pennsylvania. Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Welspun to offload and stockpile approximately 425 miles of 42-in. pipe in Pecos, Irion, Kimble, Blanco and Gonzalez counties, Texas. Headquarters are the pipe yards. The superintendents are Mike Bruce and Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: March 18.

Foltz Welding Ltd. d/b/a Continental Pipeline was awarded a contract by Spire St. Louis Pipeline for the installation of a new 24-in. pipeline meter station in St. Louis County, Missouri. Headquarters is Spanish Lake, Missouri. The superintendent is Mike Jeffords. Approximate start date: March 18.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams for the installation of an additional 30,000-hp compressor and piping modifications on an existing meter station in Essex and Passaic counties, New Jersey. Pipe size will vary from 1- to 42-in. pipelines. Headquarters is Roseland, New Jersey. The superintendent is Todd Strassburg. Approximate start date: March 18.

T.G. Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by American Steel for the offloading and racking of approximately 81,000 ft of 24-in. pipe in Ward and Winkler counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: March 18.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Epic for the offloading and racking of approximately 230 miles of 30-in. pipe in Nueces and LaSalle counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: March 15.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Phillips 66 for the handling of materials in Live Oak and Ward counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: March 15.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Piedmont Natural Gas Company Inc. to perform maintenance on existing 2- to 20-in. pipelines, including, but not limited to, anomaly digs, replacement of lines, metering and regulations stations and emergency services in Warren, Butler, Clinton, Clermont, Brown, Adams and Hamilton counties, Ohio, and Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton and Bracken counties, Kentucky. Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by MPG to haul approximately 90 miles of 30-in. pipe and approximately 10 miles of 16-in. pipe in Live Oak and San Patricio counties, Texas. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Rick Perrington. Approximate start date: March 4.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren for the replacement of approximately 7,400 ft of 20-in. pipeline, launcher and receiver replacements and station upgrades in Montgomery and Greene counties, Ohio. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Mark Carpenter. Approximate start date: March 4.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada for the take up and re-lay of approximately 2,800 ft of 36-in. pipeline in Iron County, Wisconsin. Headquarters is Saxon, Wisconsin. The superintendent is Andy Durkin. Approximate start date: Feb. 27.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EPCO for the offloading and racking of approximately 19 miles of 24- and 30-in. pipe in Ward County, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: Feb. 25.
