North American Pipeline Project Roundup: July/August 2020

Project Roundup is a monthly feature that summarizes the contracts awarded for pipeline projects in North America. The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2020 unless noted.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the excavation and recoating of approximately 70 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is John MacCoy. Approximate start date: June 30.

InfraSource Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Washington Gas & Light for the change out of three 12-in. pipeline valves and an 8-in. bypass and 12-in. launcher and bypass in Maryland. Headquarters is Brandywine, Maryland. The superintendent is Jason Nash. Approximate start date: June 22.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for hydroseeding and slip repairs on an unknown length of 30-in. pipeline in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the job site. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: June 19.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by TC Energy for the relocation of right-of-way and installation of approximately 2,400 ft of 22- and 2,400 ft of 30-in. pipeline, the removal of approximately 1,888 ft of 22-in. pipeline and approximately 1,867 ft of 30-in. pipelines in Berrien County, Michigan. Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. for restoration on approximately 22 miles of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Marshall and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Atmos for the offloading from rail and racking of approximately 344,760 ft of 36-in. pipe in Taylor County, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Larry Rodriguez. Approximate start date: June 15.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams – Transcontinental Gas Pipeline for anomaly investigations and repairs on a 16-in. pipeline in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Drew Batton. Approximate start date: June 15.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by TC Energy to install 2- to 16-in. pipeline station piping and equipment in Lorain County, Ohio. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Bill Barker. Approximate start date: June 11.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams — Transcontinental Gas Pipeline for anomaly investigations and repairs on 30- and 14-in. pipelines in Bergen, Union, Middlesex and Hudson counties, New Jersey.
