North American Oil & Gas Pipelines Pipeline Project Roundup December 2016

Pipeline Project NotesThe following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2016 unless noted.

Snelson Cos. Inc. has been awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1) two camera inspection excavations on a 12-in. pipeline in San Joaquin County, California. The superintendent is Jake Fagan; 2) the re-route of approximately 700 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Merced County, California. The superintendent is Heiko Mossner; and 3) the installation of approximately 40 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Fresno County, California. Headquarters for these three jobs are to be determined. The superintendent is Chris Sullivan.
Approximate start date: 1) Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 for 2) and 3).

Welded Construction, L.P. has been awarded a contract by Consumers Energy for the installation of approximately 160 ft of 2-in. casing vent extension in Oakland County, Michigan. Headquarters is Auburn Hills, Michigan. The superintendent is Jeff Sanderson.
Approximate start date: Oct. 19.

InfraSource, LLC has been awarded a contract by Ameren Illinois for the installation of approximately 4,200 feet of 6” pipeline in Randolph County, Illinois. Headquarters is Litchfield, Illinois. The superintendent is Clark DeGroot.
Approximate start date: Oct. 17.

InfraSource, LLC has been awarded a contract by Cascade Natural Gas for the installation of approximately 750 feet of 6” and 4” pipeline in Grant County, Washington. Headquarters is Quincy, Washington. The superintendent is Gunner Anderson.
Approximate start date: Oct. 13.

Liberty Advanced Technologies, a subsidiary of Liberty Pipeline Services, was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for real-time data collection services on the FullRecon/iNspectForms platform.  The project is called the Fairway project, a 1.7 mile, 24-in. crude line in Southeast Houston, Texas.  The superintendent is Marty Fussell.
Approximate start date: Oct. 10.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Energy Transfer for nine 22-in. pipeline anomaly digs in Parke County, Indiana. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Jim Shepler.
Approximate start date: Oct. 10.

U.S. Pipeline, Inc. has been awarded contracts by Spectra Energy-Penn Jersey Anomaly Investigations for the following: 1) for investigation digs and repairs of 24”, 30” and 36” anomalies in Dauphin, Lebanon, Berks, Lehigh, Montgomery and Bucks Counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Wayne Fontenot; and 2) for investigation digs and repairs of 24”, 30” and 36” anomalies in Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Juniata and Perry Counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Altoona, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Tommy Dunn.
Approximate start date: 1) Oct. 3 and 2) Oct. 5.

U.S. Pipeline, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Williams for the installation of approximately 2,500 feet of 42” pipeline including removal of two taps in Somerset County, New Jersey. Headquarters IS Neshanick Station, New Jersey. The superintendent is Cliff Sinclair.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Energy Transfer Panhandle Eastern for the investigation of 26” anomalies in Monroe County, Michigan and 24” anomalies in Paulding and Defiance Counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Defiance, Ohio. The superintendent is Chris Elliot.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

InfraSource, LLC has been awarded a contract by Ameren Illinois for the installation of approximately 80 feet of 8” pipeline and approximately 2,800 feet of 6” pipeline in Marion County, Illinois. Headquarters is Litchfield, Illinois. The superintendent is Clark DeGroot.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

Snelson Cos. Inc. bas been awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric for the replacement of approximately 4,700 feet of 24” pipeline in San Joaquin County, California. Headquarters IS to be determined. The superintendent is Lou McMullen.

Apex Pipeline Services, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Columbia Gas for the installation of 10” and 8” control valves and a gas heater in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Elkview, West Virginia. The superintendent is Ransford Vickers.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

Brandenburg Drainage, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for drain tile repair on a 16-in. pipeline in Scott and Clinton counties, Iowa. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Stephen Brandenburg.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

Snelson Cos. Inc. has been awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric for the installation of approximately 40 feet of 2” pipeline and a 2” valve set in San Bernardino County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Shaun Dewey.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

Rodenberg Diversified LLC has been awarded a contract by Southern Star for the installation of a 16-in. launcher and receiver in Jefferson County, Kansas. Headquarters is McLouth, Kansas. The superintendent is Darren Winter.
Approximate start date: Oct. 3.

Blackwell Enterprises Inc. has been awarded a contract by Rodenberg Diversified LLC for the restoration of approximately 10,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Noble County, Oklahoma. Headquarters is Wayne, Oklahoma. The superintendent is Bob Blackwell.
Approximate start date: Sept. 30.

Snelson Cos. Inc. has been awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric for the installation of approximately 200 ft of 8- and 6-in. pipeline and removal and reinstallation of an 8-in. mainline valve in Sacramento County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Matt Groeneveld.
Approximate start date: Sept. 29.

Right-of-Way Clearing & Maintenance Inc. has been awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. for the clearing of approximately 2,500 ft of 16-in. pipeline right-of-way in Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Reader, West Virginia. The superintendent is James Merenda.
Approximate start date: Sept. 28.

Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC has been awarded a contract by Troy Construction to provide foam spray services on approximately 91 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Mitchell, Colquitt, Brooks and Lowndes counties, Georgia and Madison and Hamilton counties, Florida. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is to be determined.
Approximate start date: Sept. 28.

Penn Line Service Inc. has been awarded a contract by Integrity Kokosing for the hydro-seeding on approximately 5 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Belmont County, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jason Clevenger.
Approximate start date: Sept. 27.

Snelson Cos. Inc. bas been awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1) the replacement of a fire valve in Fresno County, California. The superintendent is Jeff Gregory, and 2) the replacement of approximately 30 ft of 2-in. pipeline and a 2-in. valve in San Bernardino County, California. The superintendent is Chris Sullivan. Headquarters for both jobs are to be determined.
Approximate start date: Sept. 26 (for both projects).

InfraSource LLC has been awarded a contract by Puget Sound Energy for the installation of a heater in Snohomish County, Washington. Headquarters is Everett, Washington. The superintendent is Gunner Anderson. Approximate start date: Sept. 26.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. has been awarded a contract by Blue Racer Midstream for the installation of approximately 2,700 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Reader, West Virginia. The superintendent is Dave Starcher.
Approximate start date: Sept. 26.

Biginch Fabricators and Construction Inc. has been awarded a contract by Enbridge for the installation of a 24-in. spool piece and assisting with running an information pig in Will County, Illinois. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Brad Hartman.
Approximate start date: Sept. 20.

Foltz Welding Ltd. (dba Continental Pipeline Services) has been awarded a contract by Marathon Pipeline Co. for the installation of approximately 1,500 ft of 30-in. pipeline in Marion County, Illinois. Headquarters is Patoka, Illinois. The superintendent is Tim Rinehart.
Approximate start date: Sept. 19.

Penn Line Service Inc. has been awarded a contract by Minnesota Limited LLC for the hydro-seeding on approximately 15 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Richard Ringer.
Approximate start date: Sept. 19.
