North American Pipeline Project Roundup

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2013 unless noted.

Midwest Underground Inc. was awarded a contract by Buckeye for installation of approximately 0.27 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Lake County, Ind. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerry Neal. Approximate start date: Jan. 13.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by American Steel Pipe for unloading and hauling approximately 90,000 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Bowman County, N.D. Headquarters is Gascoyne, N.D. The superintendent is Gregory Michel. Approximate start date: Jan. 10.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Associated Pipeline for hauling 30-in. pipeline to the existing right of way in Brazos County, Texas. Headquarters is Houston, Texas. The superintendent is Daniel Hamilton. Approximate start date: Jan. 10.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EQT Gathering for installation of one joint of 16-in. pipeline in Wetzel County, W.Va. Headquarters is Hastings, W.Va. The superintendent is Scott Ballard. Approximate start date: Jan. 7.

Cogar Right-of-Way Clearing LLC was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. for the right-of-way clearing of approximately 34 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Lawrence and Mercer counties, Pa. Headquarters is Edinburg, Pa. The superintendent is Charlie Cochran. Approximate start date: Jan. 7.

Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. was awarded a contract by Pennant Midstream LLC for installation of approximately 18 miles of 20-in. and approximately 15.4 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Lawrence and Mercer counties, Pa. Headquarters is Edinburg, Pa. The superintendent is Kevin Berryman. Approximate start date: Jan. 6.

Latex Construction Co. was awarded a contract from Atlanta Gas and Light for the installation of approximately 21 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton counties, Ga. Headquarters is Chamblee, Ga. The superintendent is Bill Burt. Approximate start date: Jan. 6.

MDS Boring and Drilling Inc. was awarded a contract by Progressive Pipeline for road boring on approximately 70.1 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Falls, Milam, Robertson and Grimes counties, Texas. Headquarters is Bremond, Texas. The superintendent is Mike Dobbs. Approximate start date: Jan. 6.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Louisville Gas & Electric for the installation of approximately 7.3 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Jefferson County, Ky. Headquarters is Evansville, Ind. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: Jan. 6.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing of approximately 7,047 ft of 12-in. pipeline right of way and approximately 4,627 ft of 12-in. and 6-in. pipeline right of way in Bradford County, Pa. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is James Merenda. Approximate start date: mid- to late December (announced Jan. 6).

Foltz Welding, Ltd (d/b/a Continental Pipeline Services) was awarded a contract by TransCanada Keystone Pipeline for fabrication and installation of piping up to 36 in. for the Keystone Lucas Delivery Station in southern Illinois. Headquarters are Patoka, Ill., and Port Arthur, Texas. The superintendent is Tim Rinehart. Approximate start date: Jan. 3.

Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by Strike Construction Co. for installation of approximately 1,597 ft of 20-in. and approximately 1,808 ft of 24-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Liberty County, Texas. Headquarters is the jobsite. The superintendent is Oscar Myer. Approximate start date: Jan. 2.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EQT Gathering for the installation of approximately 30 ft of 16-in. pipeline and fittings on pre-existing fabrication in Wetzel County, W.Va. Headquarters is Hastings, W.Va. The superintendent is Scott Ballard. Approximate start date: Dec. 17.

lnfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Enterprise Products for the installation of approximately 315 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Brooke County, W.Va. Headquarters is Malta, Ohio. The superintendent is Brad Phillips. Approximate start date: Dec. 16.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren to investigate and repair eight anomalies on a 16-in. pipeline in Montgomery County, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Tim Dunn. Approximate start date: Dec. 16.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Mid-Ohio Contractors for the clearing of approximately 3.1 miles of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Greene County, Pa. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is James Merenda. Approximate start date: Dec. 16.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for clearing approximately 12,300 ft of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Doddridge County, W.Va. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Neil E. Kinneer. Approximate start date: Dec. 11.

Laney Direction Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by Strike USA for the installation of approximately 9,415 ft of 12-in. pipeline via directional drilling on the Centurion Pipeline Project in Mitchell and Sterling counties, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Brad Tincher. Approximate start date: Dec. 10.

Laney Direction Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for the installation of approximately 6,155 ft of 36-in. pipeline via directional drilling on the Enbridge Flanagan South Pipeline Project in Osage, Payne and Pawnee counties, Okla. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Stanley West. Approximate start date: Dec. 9.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for clearing of approximately 28.11 miles of 12-in. pipeline right of way in Washington, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties, Pa. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Texas Eastern Transmission TEAM 2014 for the offloading and racking of approximately 35 miles of 36-in. pipe in Fayette, Franklin and Lebanon counties, Pa.
