North American Pipeline Project Roundup
The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2013 unless noted.
Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for clearing approximately 12,300 ft of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Doddridge County, W.Va. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Neil E. Kinneer. Approximate start date: Dec. 11.
Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for clearing of approximately 28.11 miles of 12-in. pipeline right of way in Washington, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties, Pa. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendents are Richard Brown and Scott Brown. Approximate start date: Dec. 9.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Texas Eastern Transmission TEAM 2014 for the offloading and racking of approximately 35 miles of 36-in. pipe in Fayette, Franklin and Lebanon counties, Pa. Headquarters are unknown. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: Dec. 9.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Gas Co. for the abandonment of segments of a 4-in. pipeline including the installation of stopples and removal of test stations in Richland County, Ohio. Headquarters is Cambridge, Ohio. The superintendent is Trent Moore. Approximate start date: Dec. 6.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by ETC for the offload and rack of approximately 193 miles of 12-in. pipe in Greer County, Okla., and Clay County, Texas. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: Dec. 5.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Snelson Cos. Inc. for the hauling and stringing of approximately 161.8 miles of 20-in. pipe on the BridgeTex pipeline project in Taylor, Jones and Brownwood counties, Texas. Headquarters are Abilene and Brownwood, Texas. The superintendents are David Wright and Robert Cooley. Approximate start date: Dec. 3.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. to provide final cleanup on approximately 50 miles of right of way on Spread 1 of the Enbridge Flanagan South Pipeline Project in Tazewell and Mason counties, Ill. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is unknown. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Gas Co. for the wireline inspection of 450 ft of 16-in. pipeline and 430 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Jackson County, W.Va. Headquarters is Cambridge, Ohio. The superintendent is Trent Moore. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the installation of approximately 7.05 miles of 36-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Chambers, Harris and Liberty counties, Texas. Headquarters is on jobsite. The superintendent is Carlton Loftin. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
The Napp-Grecco Co. was awarded a contract by PPL Interstate Energy Co. for the hydro-testing of approximately 160 ft of 18-in. pipeline in Montgomery County, Pa. Headquarters is Harleysville, Pa. The superintendent is Tom Rehrig. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
Nomad Pipeline services LLC was awarded a contract by Daniel O’Connell’s Sons Inc. to install 6-to 10-in. steel pipe via directional drill and auger boring for Summit Utilities in the Kennebec Region of Maine. Headquarters are on site. The Superintendent is Randy Bunch. Approximate start date: Dec 2.
Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Buckeye Pipe Line Co. LP to replace approximately 3,100 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Hardin County, Ohio. Headquarters is Belle Center, Ohio. The superintendent is Bill Ekleberry. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
Dun Transportation and Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. to load, haul and string approximately 30 miles of 16- and 8-in. pipe in Adams County, Colo. Headquarters is on the pipe yard. The superintendent is Dane Hilsabeck. Approximate start date: Dec. 1.
CBC Pipeline LLC was awarded a contract by Access Midstream for the installation of approximately 3,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline, 5,000 ft of 16-in. pipeline, 300 ft of 6-in. pipeline and 950 ft of 4-in. pipeline in Harrison County, Ohio. Headquarters is Scio, Ohio. The superintendent is Mark Elliott. Approximate start date: Nov. 29.
Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Buckeye for the installation of approximately 1.16 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Genesee County, Mich. Headquarters is Flint, Mich. The superintendent is Jerry Bash. Approximate start date: Nov. 25.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Enterprise-Front Range for the installation of 27.5 miles of 16-in. and 5.5 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Adams County, Colo. Headquarters is Houston, Texas. The superintendent is Wayne Fontenot. Approximate start date: Nov. 25.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for the transportation of pipe from Kalamazoo County, Mich., to La Porte County, Ind., and the restoration of the Kalamazoo County yard to original condition. Headquarters is Kalamazoo, Mich. The superintendent is Ray Piper. Approximate start date: Nov. 24.
Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Buckeye for 32 anomaly digs on 12-in. pipeline in Wayne County, Mich. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is James Batton. Approximate start date: Nov. 20.
BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line for the installation of approximately 1,500-ft road bores on 30-, 26- and dual 22-in. pipelines in Sangamon County, Ill. Headquarters is Glenarm, Ill. The superintendent is Frank Ayers. Approximate start date: Nov. 18.
Blackwell Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by Strike Construction for right-of-way restoration on approximately 105 miles of 30-in. pipeline in Grayson, Collin, Rockwall and Kaufman counties, Texas. Headquarters is Wayne, Okla. The superintendent is Bob Blackwell. Approximate start date: Nov. 18.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Bechtel for the unloading and storage of various pipeline/compressor station supplies in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is Houston, Texas. The superintendent is Robert Doyen. Approximate start date: Nov. 18.
