North American Pipeline Project Roundup

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2016 unless noted.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to install approximately 820 ft of 12-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Stanislaus County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Matt Groeneveld. Approximate start date: April 19.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing of approximately 32 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Clay, Marion and Wayne counties, Illinois. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is James Putnam. Approximate start date: April 18.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 50.2 miles of 16- and 8-in. pipeline right of way in Carroll, Tuscarawas and Stark counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Dover, Ohio. The superintendent is Brian Worthington. Approximate start date: April 18.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Spectra Energy for the removal and replacement of approximately 3,055 ft of 30-in. pipeline and approximately 3,117 ft of 24-in. pipeline in Blair County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerry Bash. Approximate start date: April 18.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Ameren to install approximately 50 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Warren County, Illinois. Headquarters is Litchfield, Illinois. The superintendent is Clark DeGroot. Approximate start date: April 18.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by CPG to install a launcher and receivers in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Headquarters is in Elkview, West Virginia. The superintendent is Bob Keaton. Approximate start date: April 11.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Dominion Resources for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 644 miles of 42-, 36-, 30-, 20- and 16-in. pipeline in Monongalia County, West Virginia; Fauquier, Culpeper and Mecklenburg counties, Virginia, and Washington and Wake counties, North Carolina. Headquarters are Morgantown, West Virginia; Bealeton, Virginia; Culpeper, Virginia; Clarksville, Virginia; Plymouth, North Carolina; and Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The superintendent is Gregory Michel. Approximate start date: April 11.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Southern California Gas Co. for the replacement of approximately 1,919 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Fern County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Lou McMullen. Approximate start date: April 11.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Marathon Petroleum Co. LLC to install approximately 42 miles of 16-in. pipeline and 8.25 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Harrison, Carrol, Tuscarawas and Stark counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Dover, Ohio. The superintendents are Rex Green and Russell York. Approximate start date: April 7.

InfraSource LLC was awarded contracts by Ameren-Illinois for the following: 1) To install approximately 580 ft of 12-in. pipeline in St. Clair County, Illinois; 2) to install approximately 100 ft of 8-in. pipeline and 200 ft of 4-in. pipeline in Tazewell County, Illinois; and 3) to install approximately 1,100 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Randolph County, Illinois. Headquarters for all jobs is Litchfield, Illinois. The superintendent for all jobs is Clark DeGroot. Approximate start dates: 1) March 25, 2) and 3) April 5.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Pipeline Group for the take-up and re-lay of approximately 14.2 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Larry Parrish. Approximate start date: April 5.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Cascade Natural Gas to install approximately 20,000 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Mason County, Washington. Headquarters is Shelton, Washington. The superintendent is Gunner Anderson. Approximate start date: April 4.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by NIPSCO for casing removal in Lake, La Porte, St. Joseph and Allen counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Merrillville, Indiana. The superintendent is Clark DeGroot. Approximate start date: April 4.

Letourneau Enterprises LLC was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 9.1 miles of 26-in. pipeline right of way in Baltimore County, Maryland. Headquarters is Reisterstown, Maryland. The superintendent is Tyson Shook. Approximate start date: April 4.

The Napp-Grecco Co. was awarded a contract by Talen Energy/IEC for the removal of 18-in. mainline block valve in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Randy Betz. Approximate start date: April 4.

The Napp-Grecco Co. was awarded a contract by Spectra Energy/TET for anomaly investigations in Berks and Buck counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Reading, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Randy Betz. Approximate start date: April 4.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1) the demolition of a water tank and miscellaneous piping in Fresno County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Chris Sullivan; and 2) the replacement of approximately 800 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Merced County, California. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Jeff Gregory. Approximate start date: April 4 (for both projects).

Linde Corp. Inc. was awarded three contracts by Williams to install approximately 20,700 ft of gathering lines. The three projects are Chambers (5,658 ft of 16-in.), States Mills (8,767 ft of 16-in.) and Polk (6,266 ft of 12-in.) All three of these projects are located in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. The Chambers project will be first in the progression. Linde headquarters is Pittston, Pennsylvania. There are multiple superintendents on these projects. Approximate start date: March 29.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Puget Sound Energy for the replacement of approximately 12 ft of 8-in. pipeline, including a valve, and approximately 160 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Kitsap County, Washington. Headquarters is Seattle, Washington. The superintendent is Gunner Anderson. Approximate start date: March 28.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by La Grange Acquisition LP for the unloading of piping materials in Stark County, Ohio. Headquarters is Massillon, Ohio. The superintendent is Bruce Munro.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by ICON Midstream for the fabrication of a slug catcher in Putnam County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Nitro, West Virginia. The superintendent is Cody Vickers. Approximate start date: March 22.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Marathon Petroleum for tree felling on approximately 8.5 miles of pipeline right of way in Harrison County, Ohio. Headquarters is Dover, Ohio. The superintendent is Brian Worthington. Approximate start date: March 22.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Gas Transmission for the take-up and re-lay of approximately 3,000 ft of 24-in. pipeline and the reroute of approximately 4,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Lawrence County, Ohio. Headquarters is Dover, Ohio. The superintendent is Gary Hawk. Approximate start date: March 22.

Rodenberg Diversified LLC was awarded a contract by Tallgrass Operations for approximately 33 anomaly digs on 27 sites in Pike County, Missouri, and Pike, Scott, Morgan, Sangamon and Christian counties, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsites. The superintendent is Rodney Jacobs. Approximate start date:
March 18.

Terra Restoration Services LLC was awarded a contract by Latex Construction Co. for the seeding, hydro-seeding and restoration on approximately 25 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Buncombe, Henderson and Polk counties, North Carolina. Headquarters is Donaldsonville, North Carolina. The superintendent is Brannon Dyess. Approximate start date: March 18.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by CT Expansion/Tennessee Gas Pipeline LLC/Kinder Morgan to install approximately 5.1 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Albany County, New York and Berkshire County, Massachusetts and approximately 8.3 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Hartford County, Connecticut. Headquarters is Albany, New York. The superintendent is Dave Csepegi. Approximate start date: March 15.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren to install approximately 13 miles of 16-in. pipeline in Johnson and Morgan counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Evansville, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: March 14.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded contracts by Pacific Gas & Electric for the following: 1) the installation of pipeline markers and ETS stations in Kern County, California. The superintendent is Brandon Roth; 2) the installation and fabrication of a 6-in. MLV and blow down in Monterey County, California. The superintendent is Norm Glenn; and 3) the hydro-testing of a 4-in. regulation station in Merced County, California. The superintendent is Shaun Dewey. Headquarters for all projects is to be determined. Approximate start date: 1) Feb. 29, 2) and 3) March 14.

Blackwell Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by Progressive Pipeline for the reseeding on approximately 80 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Grant, Kay, Noble and Payne counties, Oklahoma. Headquarters is Wayne, Oklahoma. The superintendent is Bob Blackwell. Approximate start date: March 7.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Talen Energy Supply LLC to install approximately 3.7 miles of 24-in. pipeline including two directional drills and three bores in York County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Kevlin Shaw. Approximate start date: March 1.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. for hand tree felling on approximately 32 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Clay, Marion and Wayne counties, Illinois. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Jim Junker Jr. Approximate start date: Feb. 29.

C. J. Hughes Pipeline was awarded a contract by Rice Midstream to install approximately 310 ft of 24-in. pipeline and 400 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Troy Taylor. Approximate start date: Feb. 24.
