The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2015 unless noted.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge to install approximately 92.4 miles of 24-in. pipeline in DeWitt, Livingston, Macon and McLean counties, Illinois. Headquarters is Bloomington, Illinois. The superintendent is Thad Hutchens. Approximate start date: June 18.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge to install approximately 75.8 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Christian, Fayette, Macon, Marion and Shelby counties, Illinois. Headquarters is Decatur, Illinois. The superintendent is Wayne Fontenot. Approximate start date: June 16.
C.J. Hughes Pipeline was awarded a contract by Rice Midstream to install approximately 4.8 miles of 24- and 18-in. pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Chuck Barnett. Approximate start date: May 18.
Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Algonquin Gas Transmission/Spectra Energy to install approximately 2 miles of 36-in. pipeline, 9.1 miles of 16-in. pipeline and 1.3 miles of 12-in. pipeline along with related facilities and the removal and abandonment of approximately 9.1 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Hartford, Middlesex and New London counties, Connecticut. Headquarters is North Franklin, Connecticut. The superintendent is Sonny Weems. Approximate start date: May 18.
Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Dominion Transmission Inc. for the take-up and re-lay of approximately 3.45 miles of 26-in. pipeline and the retest of approximately 2,256 ft of 26-in. pipeline in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Westfield, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Todd Burleson. Approximate start date: May 18.
Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by MarkWest Energy Partners for restoration work on approximately 16 miles of pipeline in Doddridge and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Lumberport, West Virginia. The superintendent is Kevin Newcomb. Approximate start date: May 18.
Dykon Blasting Corp. was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc./Spectra Energy for rock drilling and blasting on approximately 29.5 miles on 30-in. pipeline in Columbiana and Jefferson counties, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jared Redyke. Approximate start date: May 15.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded contracts by Precision Pipeline LLC for the following: 1) to provide spray foam services on approximately 59 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Braxton, Doddridge, Harrison and Lewis counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Mike McGill; and 2) to provide spray foam services on approximately 13 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Harrison County, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Mike McGill. Approximate start dates: 1) May 5 and 2) May 15.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Rice Energy to install approximately 3 miles of 24-in. pipeline and 3 miles of 18-in. pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Troy Stamper. Approximate start date: May 12.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren for maintenance work including fabrication, installation of launchers and receivers and fitting replacements on 16-in. pipeline in Hendricks and Marion counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Brownsburg, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: May 11.
R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by NIPSCO for the fabrication and installation of one 30-in. launcher and one 30-in. receiver and for one 30-in. anomaly replacement in Lake and Porter counties, Indiana. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Randy Recker. Approximate start date: May 11.
CBC Pipeline LLC was awarded a contract by Blue Racer Midstream to install 24-in. pipeline fabrication in Marshall County, West Virginia. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Nathan Basco. Approximate start date: May 7.
Gabe’s Construction Co. Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC to install approximately 3,750 ft of 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Jackson and Monroe counties, Wisconsin. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Steve Huibregtse. Approximate start date: May 5.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to provide concrete coating on approximately 2,400 ft of 26-in. pipe in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joe Howard. Approximate start date: May 5.
Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded contracts by Vectren for the following: 1) for the hydrostatic testing of approximately 15.36 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Montgomery and Putnam counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Crawfordsville, Indiana. The superintendent is Paul Lee; 2) to install approximately 50 ft of 12- and 8-in. station bypass pipeline, fitting replacement on a 20-in. pipeline and the hydrostatic testing of approximately 14.78 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Delaware, Hamilton and Madison counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Anderson, Indiana. The superintendent is Tom Alexander; and 3) for the hydrostatic testing of approximately 3.84 miles of 8-in. and 4.99 miles of 6-in. pipeline and the storage field testing of 5,000 ft of 4-in. pipeline in Clark County, Indiana. Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by UGI Energy Services Inc. to install approximately 9.8 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Susquehanna and Wyoming counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Jack Burch. Approximate start date: May 5.
Foltz Welding Ltd. (d/b/a Continental Pipeline Services) was awarded a contract by Marathon Pipeline for cut-outs and hydrostatic testing on approximately 170 miles of 10-in. pipeline in La Porte, Lake and Porter counties, Indiana and Allegan, Berrien, Ottawa, Muskegon and Van Buren counties, Michigan.
