North American Pipeline Project Roundup

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2015 unless noted.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by JB Express for the hauling and stockpiling of approximately 279 miles of 30-in. pipe in Harris, Hill, Houston and Liberty counties, Texas. Headquarters is Channelview, Texas. The superintendent is unknown. Approximate start date: May 1.

Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Texas Eastern Transmission LLC to install approximately 46.4 miles of 30-in. pipeline in Belmont, Jefferson and Monroe counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Benwood, West Virginia. The superintendent is Joe Parrish. Approximate start date: April 27.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan to lower approximately 300 ft of 12- in. pipeline and 300 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Alameda County, California. Headquarters is Port of Oakland, California. The superintendent is Greg Wright. Approximate start date: April 27.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by  Southern California Gas Co. to replace approximately 3,400 ft of 24-in. pipeline in Los Angeles County, California. Headquarters is Santa Clarita, California. The superintendent is Mary LaRue. Approximate start date: April 20.

Rodenberg Diversified LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Midstream for the modification of a launcher and receiver in Mahoning County, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Craig Myer. Approximate start date: April 13.

Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Services LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 6.4 miles of 10-in. pipeline right of way in Adams and York counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Hanover, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Brain Worthington. Approximate start date: April 13.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Stupp for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 124 miles of 30-in. pipe in Lee County, Iowa. Headquarters is Keokuk, Iowa. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: April 12.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Consol Energy to install approximately 2.5 miles each of 20- and 12-in. pipeline and 2.5 miles of 20-in. plastic pipeline in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Smithburg, West Virginia. The superintendent is Dana Keaton. Approximate start date: April 8.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Evraz for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 30 miles of 30-in. pipe in Carlton, Cass and Hubbard counties, Minnesota. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Dane Hilsabeck.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren to install approximately 2,000 ft of 4-in. pipeline in Montgomery County, Indiana. Headquarters is Crawfordsville, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. The approximate starting date is April 6.

ProFoam LLC was awarded a contract by Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. to provide foam trench breakers on approximately 48.5 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Belmont, Jefferson and Monroe counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Shadyside, Ohio. The superintendent is Adam Norsworthy. Approximate start date: April 6.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Spectra Energy to install 1- and 2-in. bypass lines in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Chris Elliot. Approximate start date: April 1.

Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan Inc. for the hydro-testing of approximately 13 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Morgan County, Ohio. Headquarters is Duncan Falls, Ohio. The superintendent is Bryant “Tubby” Long. Approximate start date: April 1.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Welspun/ETC for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 130 miles of 30-in. pipe in Lincoln County, South Dakota. Headquarters is Worthington, South Dakota. The superintendent is Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: March 30.

Foltz Welding Ltd. (d/b/a Continental Pipeline Services) was awarded a contract by Marathon Pipeline for the hydro-testing of approximately 2.5 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Delaware County, Indiana. Headquarters is Muncie, Indiana. The superintendent is Jonathan Feather. Approximate start date: March 30.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. to install approximately 1,575 ft of 12-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Harrison County, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is to be determined. Approximate start date: to be determined (announced March 30).

Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by Phillips 66 for the final installation and hydro-testing of approximately 700 ft of 1 0-in. pipeline in Kootenai County, Idaho. Headquarters is Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. The superintendent is Rob Healy. Approximate start date: March, 30.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Stupp for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 206 miles of 30-in. pipe in Jasper County, Iowa. Headquarters is Newton, Iowa. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: March 30.

BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Spectra Energy for installation of 36-, 30-, 24- and 20-in. suction and discharge piping in compressor station in Pickaway County, Ohio. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerry Herring. Approximate start date: March 24.

C.J. Hughes Pipeline was awarded a contract by Rice Midstream to install approximately 4,400 ft of 18-in. pipeline and 4,400 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Chuck Barnett. Approximate start date: March 24.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by InterCon Construction Inc. for the clearing of approximately 14 miles of 8-in. pipeline right of way in Juneau and Monroe counties, Wisconsin. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Dennis Bergman. Approximate start date: March 24.

CBC Pipeline LLC was awarded a contract by Blue Racer Midstream to install approximately 700 ft of 18-in. pipeline, 1,000 ft of 12-in. pipeline and associated fabrication work in Harrison County, Ohio. Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. for the concrete coating of approximately 1,350 ft of 20-in. pipe in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joe Howard. Approximate start date: March 23.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. for hand cutting on approximately 9 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerod Hecimovich. Approximate start date: March 23.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corporation for the clearing of approximately 7,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline right of way in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Cheswick, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Jim Merenda. Approximate start date: March 23.

Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Spectra/Texas Eastern Transmission LP for the take-up and re-lay of approximately 2,100 ft of 36- and 6,800 ft of three 30-in. pipelines in Madison County, Kentucky. Headquarters is Richmond, Kentucky. The superintendent is Bill Silveus. Approximate start date: March 23.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Trinity Energy Services for the hauling from stockpile to right of way of approximately 27.5 miles of 20-in. pipe in Ector, Glasscock and Midland counties, Texas. Headquarters is Odessa, Texas. The superintendent is Justin Whitley. Approximate start date: March 20.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockies Express Pipeline LLC for the modification and installation of metering facilities in Putnam County, Indiana, and Douglas, Edgar, Macon and Moultrie counties, Illinois. Headquarters is Tuscola, Illinois. The superintendent is Gary Pellham. Approximate start date: March 16.

Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC for the DOT replacements and mainline valve installation and modifications on 36- and 30-in. pipeline in Howard and Montgomery counties, Maryland. Headquarters is Ownings Mills, Maryland. The superintendent is Joe Carter. Approximate start date: March 16.

Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. for the clearing and grubbing of approximately 1.81 miles of 24- and 2.49 miles of 12-in. pipeline right of way in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.
