North American Pipeline Project Roundup

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2015 unless noted.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing of approximately 72 miles of 12- and 16-in. pipeline right of way in Eau Claire, Jackson and Monroe counties, Wisconsin. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Dennis Bergman. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. to load, haul and string approximately 88 miles of 36-in. pipe in Austin, Fort Bend and Harris counties, Texas. Headquarters is Sealy, Texas. The superintendent is Cody Phillips. Approximate start date: Jan. 12.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Enterprise Rancho Project for the installation of approximately 88.6 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Austin, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Harris and Waller counties, Texas. Headquarters is Rosenberg, Texas. The superintendent is Dickey Langston. Approximate start date: Jan. 12.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Southern California Gas Co. for the replacement of two 24-in. valves in Los Angeles County, California. Headquarters is Newhall, California. The superintendent is Karl Atwood. Approximate start date: Jan. 7.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Energy Transfer for yard preparation in Lincoln County, South Dakota. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Jim Bess. Approximate start date: Jan. 5.

CBC Pipeline LLC was awarded two contracts by MarkWest Utica EMG LLC for 1.) the installation of approximately 1.89 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Belmont County, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Mark Elliott; and 2.) the installation of approximately 2.45 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Guernsey County, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Brian Garland. Approximate start date: Dec. 29, 2014 (for both projects).

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract from MRC Global to stockpile approximately 70 miles of 20-in. pipe in Goliad County, Texas. Headquarters are Victoria and Berclair, Texas. The superintendent is Greg Michel. Approximate start date: Dec. 29, 2014.
Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. for the clearing and grubbing of approximately 84.5 miles of 36-in. pipeline right of way in Austin, Brazoria, Fort Bend and Waller counties, Texas. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is James “Bucky” Lane. Approximate start date: Dec. 29, 2014.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Rice Energy to install approximately 4.3 miles of 24-in. natural gas pipeline and 4.3 miles of 24-in. water pipeline in Belmont County, Ohio. Headquarters is Belmont, Ohio. The superintendent is Tim Dunn. Approximate start date: Dec. 23, 2014.

C.J. Hughes Pipeline was awarded a contract by Rice Energy for the installation of 3 miles of 24 in. steel pipeline and 3 miles of 18-in. poly-pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. The superintendents are Chuck Barnett and Troy Taylor. Approximate start date: Dec. 15, 2014.

Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by Oxy Long Beach Inc. for the installation of approximately 3,100 ft of 2-, 3- and 6-in. pipeline in Los Angeles County, California. Headquarters is Long Beach, California. The superintendent is Stephen Byrd. Approximate start date: Dec. 15, 2014.

Q3 Contracting Inc. was awarded a contract by BP/Olympic Pipeline for the installation of an undisclosed amount of 20-in. pipeline casing and 2-in. vent pipes in Whatcom County, Washington. Headquarters is Ferndale, Washington. The superintendent is Sean Douglas. Approximate start date: Dec. 15, 2014.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Columbia Pipeline Group for the installation of 24-in. hot taps and fabrication in Steuben County, New York. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Rusty McNichol. Approximate start date: Dec. 10, 2014.

Terra Restoration Services LLC was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. for the wintertime monitoring of approximately 28.1 miles of 12-in. pipeline in
Doddridge and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Moundsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is John Newell. Approximate start date: Dec.
8, 2014.

Terra Restoration Services LLC was awarded a contract by Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. for the wintertime monitoring of approximately 17.5 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Marshall and Wetzel counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Moundsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is John Newell. Approximate start date: Dec. 8, 2014.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by MPG for the installation of approximately 1.96 miles of 30-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jimmie Johnson. Approximate start date: Dec. 4, 2014.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Ace Pipeline for the clearing of approximately 9.33 miles of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Belmont and Guernsey counties, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is James Merenda. Approximate start date: Dec. 3, 2014.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by ICON Midstream for the clearing of approximately 3 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Tyler County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Centerville, West Virginia. The superintendent is Roman McKown. Approximate start date: Dec. 2, 2014.
