The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2014 unless noted.
MDS Boring and Drilling Inc. was awarded a contract by WHC for road boring on approximately 9 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is Houston, Texas. The superintendent is Danny Sawickis. Approximate start date: Dec. 8.
Q3 Contracting Inc. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for an anomaly dig in Multnomah County, Oregon. Headquarters is Portland, Oregon. The superintendent is Sean Douglas. Approximate start date: Dec. 2.
Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded contracts by EQT for the following: 1) clearing of approximately 10 miles of 12-in. pipeline right of way in Harrison County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Reynoldsville, West Virginia, and 2) for the clearing of 11 miles of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Headquarters is West Union, West Virginia. The superintendent for both jobs is Roman McKown. Approximate start date: Dec. 1.
Snelson Companies Inc. was awarded a contract by Southern California Gas Co. for the replacement of approximately 100 ft of 24-in. pipeline and two 24-in. valves in Los Angeles County, California. Headquarters is Newhall, California. The superintendent is Greg White. Approximate start date: Dec. 1.
Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 4 miles of 24-in. pipeline right of way in Green County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Claude R. St. Pierre. Approximate start date: Dec. 1.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for 11 integrity digs on a 12-in. pipeline in Bureau, LaSalle and Livingston Counties, Illinois. Headquarters is Litchfield, Illinois. The superintendent is Quin Affeldt. Approximate start date: Nov. 10.
Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren for the replacement of approximately 3,500 ft of 12-in. pipeline m Clark County, Indiana. Headquarters is Clarksville, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: Nov. 10.
Pipeline Energy Group Inc. (d/b/a Carl Smith Pipeline) was awarded two contracts by MarkWest Utica EMG LLC for 1.) the installation of approximately 3.86 miles of 20-in. pipeline, and 2.) the installation of approximately 1.81 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Monroe County, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Donald Smith. Approximate start date: Nov. 10.
CBC Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by MarkWest Utica EMG LLC for the installation of approximately 1.5 miles of 20-in. pipeline and 1.75 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Belmont and Monroe Counties, Ohio. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Mark Elliott. Approximate start date:

Phillips & Jordan Inc. was awarded a contract by Rockford Corporation for the clearing and grubbing of approximately 3 miles of 24-in. pipeline and 2.5 miles of I2-in. pipeline right of way in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Montrose, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is John Franklin. Approximate start date: Nov. 3.
Supreme Industries was awarded a contract by U. S. Pipeline Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and matting of approximately 2.35 miles of 20-in. pipeline right of way in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Headquarters is Edison, New Jersey. The superintendent is Matthew Opel. Approximate start date: Nov. 3.
U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for the clearing, pigging, cleaning and decommissioning of approximately 110 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Christian, De Witt, Fayette, Macon, Marion and Shelby, Illinois. Headquarters IS Decatur, Illinois. The superintendent is Wayne Fontenot. Approximate start date: Nov. 3.
Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Mark West for the installation of approximately 1,500 ft of 20-in. and 8,000 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Headquarters is West Union, West Virginia. The superintendent is Cecil Hill. Approximate start date: Oct. 28.
Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada for the stockpiling and consolidating of approximately 3.84 miles of 36-in. pipe, fittings and manifolds in Payne County, Oklahoma and Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsites. The superintendent is David Wright. Approximate start date: Oct. 28.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by EMS/Shell HoHo Pipeline Reversal project for the installation of approximately 2,100 ft of 20-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Jefferson County, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Stanley West. Approximate start date: Oct. 27.
Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for hand cutting on approximately 124 miles of 32- and 30-in. pipeline right of way in Christian, Dewitt, Fayette, Macon, Marion, McLean, and Shelby Counties, Illinois. R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by DTE Energy for eight anomaly replacements on a 36-in. pipeline in Oakland and Macomb counties, Michigan. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Bart Jeannette. Approximate start date: Oct. 27.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EPCO/Enterprise Aegis for the offloading and racking of approximately 22.67 miles of 20-in. pipe in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy LP for the installation of 4- to 48-in. manifolds, booster pumps, tank lines, mainline pig traps, launchers and associated facilities in Lake County, Indiana. Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Snelson Companies Inc. for the clearing of approximately 15.56 miles of 10-in. pipeline right-of-way in Marshall County, West Virginia. Appalachian Pipeline Contractors LLP was awarded a contract by Piedmont Natural Gas to replace approximately 10 miles of 3- and 4-in. pipeline with 10 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Beaufort and Pitt counties, North Carolina. InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Lazy Q Ranch LLC for the installation of approximately 200 ft of 20-in. and 2,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline along with 8-, 16-, 20- and 30-in. launchers and receivers in Fayette County, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Kirby Niebaum. Approximate start date: Oct. 23.
OZ Directional Drilling was awarded a contract by Mid-Ohio Pipeline for the installation of approximately 3,000 ft of 12- and 24-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Bentleyville, Pennsylvania The superintendent is Brent Johnson. Approximate start date: Oct. 23.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Blue Racer Midstream to install approximately 16 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Marshall County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Moundsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is Don Cupit. Approximate start date: Oct. 22.
C.J. Hughes Pipeline was awarded a contract by Rice Energy to install approximately 1.4 miles of 12- and 18-in. HDPE pipeline and 1.4 miles of 16-in. steel pipeline in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Chuck Barnett. Approximate start date: Oct. 20.
Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by WBI for integrity work on approximately 400 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Park County, Wyoming. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Rob Healy. Approximate start date: Oct. 20.
Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Vectren for the installation of approximately 2.6 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Headquarters is Lafayette, Indiana. The superintendent is Greg Frazier. Approximate start date: Oct. 20.
