The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2014 unless noted.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Southern California Gas Co. to replace approximately 4 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Kings County, California. Headquarters is Lemoore, California. The superintendent is Fred Pitman. Approximate start date: Oct. 6.
Snelson was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E) to hydrostatic test approximately 5.4 miles of 3-in. pipeline in Fresno County, California. Headquarters is Firebaugh, California. The superintendent is Karl Atwood. Approximate start date: Sept. 24.
T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Atmos for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 65 miles of 12-, 24- and 30-in. pipe in Titus and Kaufman counties, Texas. Headquarters is Wills Point, Texas. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: Sept. 22.
Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy to install a pump station in Livingston County, Illinois. Headquarters is Pontiac, Illinois. The superintendent is Larry Wright. Approximate start date: September 2014 (announced Sept. 15).
Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Mid-Ohio Contractors for the clearing on approximately 1.92 miles of 16- and 20-in. pipeline right of way in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Inc. was awarded a contract by Primoris Pipeline Services to install approximately 2,840 ft of 12-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Welded Construction LP was awarded a contract by Dominion Transmission Inc. for the take up and re-lay of approximately 4,200 ft of 30-in. pipeline in Loudoun County, Virginia. Headquarters is Leesburg, Virginia. The superintendent is Bill Silveus. Approximate start date: Sept. 8.
Ellingson Trenchless was awarded a contract by Tek Construction Services to install 3,625 ft of 12-in. pipeline via HDD. The project is located in Greene County, Pennsylvania. The headquarters are located onsite. Approximate start date: Sept. 7.

Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Dominion Transmission Inc. to install and test approximately 1,200 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Lewis County, West Virginia. Headquarters is Jane Lew, West Virginia. The superintendent is Doug Keaton. Approximate start date: Sept. 2.
BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Panhandle Eastern to remove four anomalies from a 24-in. pipeline in Parke and Putnam counties, Indiana. Headquarters is Montezuma, Indiana. The superintendent is Mike Utley. Approximate start date: Sept. 2.
Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Evraz/Enbridge to offload and stockpile approximately 640 miles of 24- and 30-in. pipe in various counties throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. Latex Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Public Service of North Carolina to install approximately 16 miles of 16-in. and 1,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline and one 16-in. valve assembly in Alamance and Orange counties, North Carolina. Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by Phillips 66 to reroute 9.1 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Shoshone County, Idaho. Headquarters is Kirkland, Washington. The superintendent is Rob Healy. Approximate start date: Sept. 2.

Ellingson Trenchless was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline to install a 2,210-ft HDD crossing of 12-in. pipeline. The project is located in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The headquarters are located onsite. Approximate start date Sept. 1.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by Anadarko to install approximately 2,150 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Stanley West. Approximate start date: Aug. 29.
Pipeline Energy Group Inc. (d/b/a Carl Smith Pipeline) was awarded a contract by Eureka Hunter to install approximately 5.57 miles of 24-in. pipeline and 4,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Monroe County, Ohio.
