The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2014 unless noted.
Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by TransCanada to install a 6-in. meter station in Kootenai County, Idaho. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jeff Gagnon. Approximate start date: Aug. 12.
BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Panhandle Eastern to install numerous sections of 24- and 26-in. pipeline in Reno County, Kansas. Headquarters is Haven, Kansas. The superintendent is Jim Shepler. Approximate start date: July 15.
lndianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy to construct pipe yards in Cass and Hubbard counties, Minnesota, and Grand Forks and Mountrail counties, North Dakota. Headquarters are on the jobsites. The superintendent is Randy Rubenzer. Approximate start date: July 15.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to provide concrete services on approximately 1,300 ft of 26- and 20-in. pipe in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joe Howard. Approximate start date: July 15.
Michels Corp. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E) to install approximately 1,600 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Sutter County, California. Headquarters is Rio Vista, California. The superintendent is Don Bailey. Approximate start date: July 14.
R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. was awarded a contract by DTE Energy to install and fabricate a 10-in. launcher, a 10-in. receiver and a 10-in. valve in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Charlevoix counties, Michigan. Headquarters is Kalkaska, Michigan. The superintendent is Kevin Scully. Approximate start date: July 14.
Rodenberg Diversified was awarded a contract by Southern Star for the Ogallah Demolition work in Trego County, Kansas. Project foreman will be Darren Winter. Approximate start date: July 14.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Dominion East Ohio to install approximately 6 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Carroll County, Ohio. Headquarters is Carrollton, Ohio. The superintendent is Brad Phillips. Approximate start date: July 8.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Northern Indiana Public Service Co. to install approximately 950 ft of 12- and 2.5 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Lake County, Indiana. Headquarters is Whiting, Indiana. The superintendent is Chris Powell. Approximate start date: July 7.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Suncor Energy to install approximately 9.6 miles of 16-in. pipeline, 1.5 miles of 10-in. pipeline and associated mainline valves in Adams County, Colorado. Headquarters is Commerce City, Colorado. The superintendent is Dana Bratcher. Approximate start date: July 7.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by ETC PEPL/BigInch Fabricators and Construction Inc. to install approximately 765 ft of 16-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Sangamon County, Illinois. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerry Cordova. Approximate start date: July 1.
CBC Pipeline LLC was awarded a contract by MarkWest Energy to install approximately 3.26 miles of 10-in. pipeline in Belmont County, Ohio. Headquarters is Belmont, Ohio. The superintendent is Mark Elliott. Approximate start date: June 26.
Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Evraz/Enbridge for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 70 miles of 36-in. pipe in Kankakee County, Illinois and La Porte County, Indiana. Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. to provide seeding services on of approximately 70 miles of 30- and 24-in. pipeline right of way in Forrest, Perry, Greene and George counties, Mississippi, and Mobile County, Alabama Headquarters is on the jobsite. Letourneau Products Mfg. Corp. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and matting on approximately 6.6 miles of various size pipeline rights of way in Ritchie and Tyler counties, West Virginia Headquarters is St. Mary’s, West Virginia. Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Piedmont Natural Gas Co. to install approximately 13.5 miles of20- and 1.5 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Davidson County, Tennessee. Schmid Pipeline Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC for hydro-testing of two 10-in. lines underneath the Delaware River in Camden County, New Jersey, and Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; fabricating, testing and replacing valve assemblies in those same counties; and anomaly investigations in multiple counties in New Jersey. Approximate start date: June 23.
Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. was awarded a contract by Pennant Midstream LLC for the modification of mainline valves in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, Ohio. Headquarters is Edinburg, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Kevin Berryman. Approximate start date: June 18.
