North American Pipeline Project Roundup

The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2014 unless noted.

Rodenberg Diversified LLC was awarded a contract by Antero Resources Corp. for the installation of 4,300 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Doddridge County, W.Va. Headquarters is Clarksburg, W.Va. Superintendent is Ranger Dorris. Approximate start date: March 12.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for the hydrotesting of approximately 4,100 ft of 6-in. pipeline in Fresno County, Calif. Headquarters is Fowler, Calif. The superintendent is Marv Larue. Approximate start date: March 11.

Appalachian Pipeline Contractors LLP was awarded a contract by Piedmont Natural Gas for the fabrication and installation of a new regulator station and mainline valve in Pitt County, N.C. Headquarters is Farmville, N.C. The superintendent is Tommy Warren. Approximate start date: March 10.

MDS Boring and Drilling Inc. was awarded a contract by Troy Construction for 22 directional drills totaling 13,960 ft on approximately 23.5 miles of the 16-in. Midway-Ingleside pipeline in San Patricio County, Texas. Headquarters is Gregory, Texas. The superintendent is John Sterling. Approximate start date: March 10.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Anadarko Petroleum for the installation of 4- and 6-in. gathering lines of various lengths in Reeves County, Texas. Headquarters is Pecos, Texas. The superintendent is Buck Hines. Approximate start date: March 6.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for the hydrotesting of approximately 4 miles of 26-in. and 36-in. pipelines in Stanislaus County, Calif. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Greg White. Approximate start date: March 6.

Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Pipeline Group for the replacement of approximately 2,000 ft of 16-in. pipeline in Clearfield County, Pa. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is William Burleson. Approximate start date: March 3.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. for clearing of approximately 18.5 miles of 24-in. pipeline right-of way in Greene and Washington counties, Pa. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Dennis Bergman. Approximate start date: March 3.

Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corp. for the clearing of approximately 4.85 miles of 16-ft pipeline right of way in Doddridge County, W.Va. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Neil E. Kinneer. Approximate start date: March 3.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by ONEOK for the offload and racking of approximately 86 miles of 10- and 12-in. pipe in Converse and Niobrara counties, Wyo. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Bruce Munro. Approximate start date: March 1.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Mark West Utica EMG LLC for the installation of approximately 7 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Belmont, Guernsey and Noble counties, Ohio. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Sonny Weems. Approximate start date: Feb. 28.

Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for foam services on approximately 50 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Lincoln, Payne, Pawnee and Osage counties, Okla. Headquarters is Sand Springs, Okla. The superintendent is Mike McGill. Approximate start date: Feb. 26.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan Cochin Pipeline for the Cochin Valve Replacement Project 2014 in various counties in Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. Headquarters is Davenport, Iowa. The superintendent is Terry Strickland. Approximate start date: Feb. 25.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. for hand-cutting on approximately 19.5 miles of 24-in. pipeline right of way in Marshall and Wetzel counties, W.Va. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jerod Hecimovich. Approximate start date: Feb. 25.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by J Wood Pipeline LLC for the installation of two 8-in. horizontal directional drill crossings in Butler County, Pa. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is John Jones. Approximate start date: Feb. 24.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Columbia Pipeline Group for installation of approximately 18.5 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Greene and Washington counties, Pa. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is Gary Harbison. Approximate start date: Feb. 24.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. for approximately 2,100 ft of 30-in. take-up and 42-in. re-lay in Chester County, Pa. Headquarters is Downingtown, Pa. The superintendent is Jeff Adams. Approximate start date: Feb. 24.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for the installation of valve automation in San Joaquin County, Calif. Headquarters is Manteca, Calif. The superintendent is Matt Groeneveld. Approximate start date: Feb. 24.

Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for the installation of approximately 6,155 ft of 36-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Osage, Payne and Pawnee counties, Okla. Headquarters Is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Stanley West. Approximate start date: Feb. 21.

Letourneau Products Mfg. Corp. was awarded a contract by Welded Construction LP for clearing, grubbing and matting on approximately 6.61 miles of right of way for various size pipelines in Noble County, Ohio. Headquarters is Newcomerstown, Ohio. The superintendent is Claude R. St. Pierre. Approximate start date: Feb. 20.
