North American Pipeline Project Roundup
The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2014 unless noted.
Snelson Companies Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric for the hydro-testing of 4,700 ft of 26-in. pipeline in Merced County, Calif. Headquarters is to be determined. The superintendent is David “Homer Dale” Wix. Approximate start date: Feb. 11.
Apex Pipeline Services Inc. was awarded a contract by EQT Gathering for installation and testing of approximately 12.5 miles of 16- and 12-in. pipeline in Doddridge County, W.Va. Headquarters is West Union, W.Va. The superintendent is Dana Keaton. Approximate start date: Feb. 10.
Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Xcel Energy for the installation of approximately 34 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Adams and Weld counties, Colo. Headquarters is Henderson, Colo. The superintendent is Keith Maxwell. Approximate start date: Feb. 10.
Dun Transportation and Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Gas Pipeline for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 128 miles of 30-in. pipe in Rensselaer County, N.Y. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: Feb. 5.
Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Apex Pipeline Services Inc. for the clearing of approximately 6 miles of 12-in. and approximately 7 miles of 16-in. pipeline right of way in Ritchie and Doddridge counties, W.Va. Headquarters is West Union, W.Va. The superintendent is Jerod Hecimovich. Approximate start date: Jan. 31.
Pedero Pipe Support Systems USA was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to spray foam breakers and pillows for 48 miles of 36-in. pipeline in Chambers County, Texas. Headquarters is Baytown, Texas. The superintendent is Tommy Price. Approximate start date: Jan. 30.
MDS Boring and Drilling Inc. was awarded a contract by Progressive Pipeline for the installation of approximately 3,500 ft of 24-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Harris and Galveston counties, Texas. Headquarters is League City, Texas. The superintendent is Brandon Brown. Approximate start date: Jan. 27.
Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge Energy LP for the installation of a 24- and 36-in. pump station in Osage County, Okla. Headquarters is Wynona, Okla. The superintendent is Larry Wright. Approximate start date: unknown (announced Jan. 27).
Latex Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Southern Co. for the installation of approximately 32 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Coosa, Talladega and Shelby counties, Ala. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Bobby Pardue. Approximate start date: Jan. 25.
Indianhead Pipeline Services LLC was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. to provide foam services on approximately 33 miles of 20- and 24-in. pipeline in Lawrence and Mercer counties, Pa. Headquarters is Edinburg, Pa. The superintendent is Mike McGill. Approximate start date: Jan. 21.
Intercon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Minnesota Ltd. LLC for the installation of seven 20-in. horizontal directional drilling crossings m Jefferson County, Ky. Headquarters is Louisville, Ky. The superintendent is Dan Greiman. Approximate start date: Jan. 20.
Minnesota Ltd. LLC was awarded a contract by Columbia Pipeline Group for the investigation and repair of one anomaly on a 12-in. pipeline in Norfolk County, Va. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Tim Dunn. Approximate start date: Jan. 16.
Blackwell Enterprises Inc. was awarded a contract by Associated Pipe Line Contractors Inc. for the restoration of approximately 60 miles of 30-in. pipeline right of way in Grimes, Madison, Leon and Freestone counties, Texas. Headquarters is Wayne, Okla. The superintendent is Bob Blackwell. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.
Dunn Transportation and Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Gas Pipeline for pipe yard preparation activities in Rensselaer County, N.Y. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.
Ellingson Trenchless was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. to install three HDD crossings of 30-in. pipeline on the Seaway Crude Pipeline project. The project is located in Corsicana, Texas. The headquarters are located onsite. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.
InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Ameren for installation of approximately 4,000 ft of 4-in. pipeline in McDonough County, Ill. Headquarters is Litchfield, Ill. The superintendent is Quin Affeldt. Approximate start date: Jan. 15.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. was awarded a contract by WHC-Enterprise Seaway II Segment 6 for the installation of approximately 8.26 miles of 30-in. pipeline via directional drilling in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Kent Lawler. Approximate start date: Jan. 14.
