Leines to Retire, Crowe to Become New Minnesota Ltd. President
Minnesota Ltd. president Christopher Leines has announced his plan to retire effective March 31. The company announced he will be succeeded by long-time industry veteran Ted Crowe, who is currently vice president of operations.
After much reflection and a lifelong career dedicated to Minnesota Ltd., this was a decision that was not taken lightly, according to a March 29 company statement.
“We thank and congratulate Chris on an extremely successful career,” said Doug Banning, CEO of Minnesota Ltd. and sister company Miller Pipeline. “Chris is well respected by customers, vendors and industry peers. Throughout his tenure, Chris’s leadership has successfully driven a best in class level of performance for safety and quality.” Banning has asked Leines to stay on as an executive consultant to assist in making a seamless transition.
April 1 will mark the beginning of a new era for Minnesota Limited, as Crowe accepts the position as president. Crowe began his career at Leonard Pipeline Contractors in 1977 where he spent 17 years as project manager, project administrator, chief accountant and vice president. He then spent the next four years at Northern Pipeline Construction in the U.S. Pipeline Division as vice president of pipeline construction.
With more than 38 years of experience managing small and multi-million dollar pipeline construction and maintenance projects across the country, Crowe started his tenure at Minnesota Ltd. in 1999. He has previously worked as project manager, director of operations and vice president of operations.
“Ted has assembled a great operation’s team over the past few years,” Banning said. “I am confident in Ted’s leadership and his ability to continue to grow our transmission pipeline construction business with the key strategies of maintaining the highest level of safety and quality.”
Minnesota Ltd. LLC, an MVerge company, is a wholly owned subsidiary of VISCO. Its ultimate corporate parent is Vectren Corp.
