Windle Named GM of Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission

Dominion Resources Inc. has named Keith Windle general manager of Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission.
Windle, who began his new position June 1, will be based in Columbia and oversee 120 employees at Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission.
The company owns and operates nearly 1,500 miles of federally regulated interstate natural gas pipeline in South Carolina and southeastern Georgia.
“Keith’s strong leadership, project management and financial skills will be major assets that he will bring with him to Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission,” said Scot Hathaway, senior vice president-Operations, Engineering and Construction. “He will oversee a company with a tremendous safety, reliability and compliance record.”
Windle first worked for Dominion as an intern in 2001. After earning a degree in accounting from Christopher Newport University, he joined Dominion Virginia Power’s Electric Distribution group. He became director-Financial Management for Dominion Virginia Power in 2011 and moved to the same position in 2013 for Dominion Energy.
Reporting to Windle will be Wayne Vermullen, director-Gas Operations, and Charles Forsberg, director-Energy Services. Dominion acquired the company from SCANA Corporation earlier this year.
