IPLOCA Launches New Website Design
The International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) has unveiled its newly redesigned website.
The website combines all of the activities of the association together with the online versions of the IPLOCA Yearbook and is accessible on all platforms via computer, tablets and mobile devices, said IPLOCA executive secretary Juan Arzuaga in a March 10 letter.
The redesign includes a number of new features for members and the pipeline industry in general.
One new feature is an extensive profile for each member that has direct links to all contacts, including branch offices, clickable key words in the ‘Activities’ section, a link to the company’s listing on the IPLOCA Members Technology Platform, as well as information on IPLOCA Board Director representation (if applicable).
Arzuaga noted that the company profiles are still being checked, and the IPLOCA staff expects to complete this by the end of March.
A new “Member News” section allows members to send in their latest news to post online. Online registration forms will be available for upcoming events, such as Novel and HSE Workshops.
An “Industry News” tab provides information on the global pipeline and oil and gas industries, and will be updated every 12 hours.
The website now features a section where presentations from past conventions, webinars, HSE, Novel and regional meetings can be easily downloaded. There is also a larger directory with an improved search tool providing easy access to all areas of the website.
In addition, the site provides connections to IPLOCA’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.
Arzuaga encouraged members to take a look and check out their company’s profile. If visitors have any questions, suggestions, feedback or comments, please send an email to info@iploca.com.
“Many thanks to Pedemex, the publishers of the IPLOCA Yearbook, and in particular Peter Schoonenberg, for the time and energy that went into the design of the website in collaboration with the IPLOCA Secretariat,” Arzuaga said.
He added that the development of the Membership Platform where members will be able to access their profiles and make updates to their own data, images, logos and more is an ongoing effort and will be introduced during Phase 2 of the website rollout.
