Fernandez Named President of PLM
The board of directors of PipeLine Machinery International (PLM) approved the appointment of Tony Fernandez as the president of PLM effective Jan. 1. Brad Tucker will remain chairman of the board for PLM.
Fernandez was instrumental in the early discussions that resulted in a four-dealer partnership to form PLM, the first Cat dealer to focus on a particular industry on a global basis. His pipeline experience was built during his seventeen year history with Cat dealer (and PLM partner) Ring Power Corp. as international accounts manager and pipeline division manager.
Fernandez began his PLM career at its inception in 2005 as vice president of the company’s Americas division and in this role took responsibility for all sales and equipment. He was promoted to executive vice president and general manager in December 2010 where he continued to expand his role, leading PLM towards increased international growth.
“I am truly honored to work with the PLM organization of more than seventy employees worldwide and look forward to this new role and leading them, our customers and our partners to success in the years to come,” Fernandez said.
