Barbco Partners with Stark County Hunger Task Force for Ohio Food Drive
Over the 2019 holiday season, Barbco Inc. reached out to the Stark County Hunger Task Force, in Stark County, Ohio, to launch the company’s inaugural Holiday Food Drive.
Since 1981, the Stark County Hunger Task Force has been fighting hunger in the community where Barbco’s headquarters are located by providing financial, logistic, strategic and food support to a network of more than 30 local emergency food pantries. The Stark County Hunger Task Force does more than just provide free groceries to those in need: they ease anxiety, inspire hope and promote wellness. By alleviating hunger in Stark County, the company’s leadership and employees are building a stronger community.
Barbco employees have collected a total of 255 goods, coming to a whopping 225 pounds. In a Feb. 25 statement, the company’s leadership said they were so proud of everyone that contributed, and they can’t wait to do it again next year. Barbco takes pride in its community and their employees.
