American Piping Products Announces New CEO, Executive VP Promotions
St. Louis, Missouri-based American Piping Products Inc. (APP) has promoted Matt Danis to CEO effective Jan. 1. Danis has worked at APP since 2009 and over the past 12 years has served in various capacities, including president, CFO and COO.
“I am honored to become the CEO of APP,” Danis said. “I am proud to work with our team to grow our business. With our talent, capabilities and strong financial position, we have the opportunity to reset our growth trajectory post COVID.”
Shane Russell has also been promoted to executive vice president of sales. Russell has worked at APP since 2004. Over the past 17 years, he has served as a Sales Representative, Sales Manager and mentor to many new sales hires at APP.
“I am thrilled to have Shane as a partner in accomplishing our strategic goals,” Danis said. “Shane has been a very successful individual contributor at APP; he has hired and mentored many of our existing sales team. Shane has the qualities to nurture and grow the best sales team in our industry.”
American Piping Products is primarily engaged in the distribution of carbon, stainless steel and chrome moly pipe, tubing, fitting, valves and flanges used in the processing, energy, manufacturing, fabrication and construction industries.
As one of the leading steel pipe suppliers in the world, American Piping Products uses steel processing facilities in Houston, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Chicago that stock more than 50,000 tons of material.
